October 21, 2026 I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I’m an experienced health information management professional – a certified clinical coding specialist and medical transcriptionist – and a parent of two young children, and I have grave concerns about the harmful health effects of compulsory and/or undisclosed microwave radiation exposure on a largely uninformed, un-consenting, and unprotected population of United States citizens. With more and more biologically hazardous cell towers, small cell equipment, and smart meters being forced on United States citizens (often against their wishes) and with public schools now enforcing the use of wireless devices in every classroom, and the daily, up-close, compulsory exposure of vulnerable schoolchildren to wireless infrastructure (“WiFi”) health risks all day while held in captivity by order of the state; soon there may be no place left for anyone to hide from the dangerous cumulative effects of so many unchecked layers of microwave radiation. Without the benefit of appropriately serious health warnings provided by the government institutions we trust to protect our citizens, most people don’t even question the safety of wireless devices at all! How many of you know of a teenager who sleeps with a cell phone on her pillow, resting directly against her brain all night long? How many times have you seen a drooling baby in the shopping cart, keeping quiet with a tablet’s microwave radiation warming his private parts - or teething with A CELL PHONE IN HIS MOUTH? I once witnessed every single pregnant woman in the waiting room at my OB/GYN doctor’s passing the time innocently holding a cell phone pulsing with invisible radiation directly over her pregnant belly - likely without any clue she is causing harmful microwaves to penetrate the delicate cells and organs of her precious baby developing inside. One of these mothers-to-be stood up when called and placed the biologically interactive cell phone inside the belly pocket of her hoodie, pressed right up against her baby growing inside.…

Approximately 2008, the buzzing in my ears or (head) started upon awakening and an electrical current pulling at my skull. In 2010, my symptoms progressed to extreme tinnitus, nearly 24hrs a day. It interfered with everyday tasks and cognition. I could feel a disabling pulsed signal followed by a loss of balance.

Over the years, with every advancement in RF technology, my symptoms worsened.

Overall adverse effects are; Rapid aging, Flashing strobe lights in a dark room, Hair loss, sore scalp, Extreme itching and extreme tinnitus. Also directed energy.

My Optomologist, diagnosed eye damage due to exposure to UVs.

Otherwise, I am a strong healthy woman.

Ruling out an unhealthy lifestyle and learning about exposure to RF radiation from experts in the field, I have limited my exposure to anything wireless.

NO Ring door cam; No Alexa; No Nest; Refused smart meter, and avoid anything SMART.

Use protection on cell phone.

Given the option, I plug in.

Use the earth for grounding.

And polarized lenses.

There is nowhere to hide in NYC from Wifi and WBAN.

I have never consented to this! This is torture!

Please help us regain our quality of life in the USA.

EMF must be further explored as a contributing factor to poor health in humans, plants and animals. Every physical system that features a voltage drop is inherently sensitive to electromagnetic frequencies (EMF). Anything with a voltage drop, including human, animal, and plant cells, will respond to electromagnetic frequency. This is a fundamental law of physics: a voltage drop implies the presence of an electric field and moving or resting electrical charges (electrons or ions). Living cells function exactly like miniature, dynamic batteries. Every living cell maintains a strict resting membrane potential (a voltage drop across the cell membrane, typically around -70 millivolts). Because electromagnetic waves are composed of oscillating electric and magnetic fields, they physically interact with these charges, exerting forces that alter their behavior. Allowing the world and children to be bathed in varying EMF is irresponsible and unscientific. Various frequencies must be fully studied. Cancer rates are high and getting higher every few years, I can't take the "war on cancer" seriously until chemicals and electromagnetic frequencies are studied and taken seriously. Depression and anxiety are also common. We have a very sick society. Health is wealth. Many studies show change in calcium channel gates and thus biological stress, inflammation, and chronic inflammation leads to various diseases. I strongly believe that EMF affects health. Multiple studies supports my belief. (….continued from previous Comment, this is Comment to HHS Part 2) The American Academy of Pediatrics advises parents to “limit children’s screen time and exposure from cell phones and other devices emitting radiation from electromagnetic fields (EMF)”, but teachers in our town have sent home papers assigning the children to spend more time practicing on their wireless devices at home, to better their skills for testing time. There are hazardous wireless routers emitting radiation in every classroom, but most teachers are not even aware that they shouldn’t stand directly under a wireless router all day, or place an unsuspecting child’s desk directly beside a wireless router for him to absorb maximum radiation exposure every day while attending school. In meetings with school principals, superintendents, teachers, and the school committee in our town, our family asked them to bring in just one local medical professional willing to attest to the safety of a wireless learning environment for children. They reported back that they did reach out to some local doctors, but none of the doctors who responded were willing to make such a statement on the record. One of the doctors reportedly said to our school Principal, off the record, “I’m not attesting to that. Everyone knows you’re supposed to limit your exposure to radiation.” Even still, in our town’s public schools there is no informed consent notice to be signed, disclosing to parents that their children will be exposed to constant microwave radiation while attending school. When I tell other parents about it, it makes them feel sick - and foolish that they’ve been left unprotected and unaware of such a major cause for concern about health risks present in their children’s learning environment. Most the educators we met with uncomfortably agreed that there is definitely cause for concern regarding wireless radiation exposure in the schools, but they’ve made no effort to stop the massive rollout of wireless tech – and instead offered us the option to home school our kids as the only way to avoid the serious health risks of cumulative daily radiation exposure at school. These Towers and their negative frequencies are not healthy or good for humans, plants and animals... Get rid of them please!

Three years ago they added 5G towers to our neighborhood and shortly after that I experience a severe vertigo spell, loosing hearing in my right ear and now have constant ringing in that ear. I am a nurse in a hospital and at times I feel dizzy at work around all of the computers and equipment.

In a triple-heterodyne architecture where a 94 GHz RF carrier and a 500 kHz ultrasound (US) wave interact within a tissue matrix modulated by low-frequency bio-electric signals (0.5 Hz to 100 Hz EEG), the non-linear properties of the tissue will cause the fields to mix. From a physics standpoint, the mechanical pressure wave of the ultrasound cyclically compresses and expands the tissue. This changes the local ionic density and dielectric permittivity (\(\epsilon \)), creating a moving diffraction grating. The Primary Acousto-Optic Sidebands (The MHz Shift) The most prominent new RF frequencies emerging from the head are the upper and lower sidebands caused by the fundamental RF-ultrasound mixing (\(f_{RF} \pm f_{US}\)): • Upper Sideband: 94.0005 GHz (\(94 \text{ GHz} + 500 \text{ kHz}\)) • Lower Sideband: 93.9995 GHz (\(94 \text{ GHz} - 500 \text{ kHz}\)) 2. The Triple-Heterodyne Brainwave Signatures (The Hz Fine-Structure) Because the intrinsic EEG currents (\(f_{EEG} = 0.5 \text{ Hz to } 100 \text{ Hz}\)) are simultaneously cross-modulating the local conductivity, the primary 500 kHz sidebands are further split. This creates an incredibly tight "fine-structure" spectrum around the sidebands: • Upper Sideband Component: 94.0005 GHz \(\pm \) (0.5 Hz to 100 Hz) • Lower Sideband Component: 93.9995 GHz \(\pm \) (0.5 Hz to 100 Hz) • Example: For a strong 10 Hz Alpha wave, you will see discrete micro-sidebands at exactly 94,000,500,010 Hz and 94,000,499,990 Hz. 3. When the phone company “upgraded” us(without consent) to 5G, I got extremely lethargic, couldn’t work or concentrate. We downgraded and only then did I feel better.

I am submitting my information to document the effects of wireless radiation on my health. And I am requesting that people be informed on the potential harmful effects of wireless radiation and also requesting to lower the regulatory levels of what is considered safe. Attached is a letter from a research scientist who has been studying for the past 28 years, at the date of her letter, the biological and health effects of electromagnetic pollution. My Story: In Oct 2016, I was overexposed to the wireless radiation of a GPS in a car that could not be turned off. I knew that they made me dizzy. And my friends knew to turn off their cell phones in cars because they gave me headaches. Following this over-exposure to a GPS, over the next weeks, the dizziness continued and at time got much worse. I would also get tingling in my legs. And I had persistent fatigue regardless of how much I slept. In Sep 2017, when Hurricane Irma took out the power throughout our city for 6 days, I noticed a big change in my symptoms. The symptoms went away and I was able to volunteer with hurricane relief for a number of days. Following this power outage, I was now certain what caused my symptoms – wireless radiation. I then proceeded to reduced my exposures in whatever way that I could. In July 2019, I experienced severe dizziness for 2 weeks. I then found that they had installed a third row of cellular antennae on the cell tower less than a half mile from my home. I shielded the wall of my home facing that cell tower to reduce my radiation exposure at home. I also became trained in doing EMF consultations for others to help reduce their radiation exposures, especially at night when the body needs peaceful, non-EMF exposure time to rest and regenerate to then be better able to handle the unavoidable exposures that we deal with daily in our current society. There are exposures from WiFi that is everywhere, cell phones with every person, cell towers all around and the smart meter network. I am describing my personal experience: In January 2019 I moved into a house with a broadcasting smart meter. Soon after, I experienced an immediate decline in my health. I noticed headaches, tinnitus, insomnia, exhaustion, sleep problems, leg cramps, chest pains, joint aches, anxiety, whole body buzzing sensations, rashes, loss of bladder control, tingling in the extremities, irritability, inability to concentrate, and agitation. I was unable to find a doctor who could help me. My life has changed in almost uncountable ways since my experience of living in a house with a smart meter. Getting it removed didn't make it be as if it had never been there although the new non-broadcasting opt-out meter's arrival meant that things stopped getting worse. I used to be able to drive, ride a bicycle, walk on a road with houses on it, take public transportation, and go to places where people are. I can't any more because I can't be where there are cell phones, smart meters, WiFi, or power lines without experiencing pain, tinnitus, headaches, and aching joints. It takes several days to recover if I absolutely have to go into town (for medical appointments). I used to be able to do all these things, and more. When I say I can't do things I mean the price is too high. I'd rather sit in the dark than turn on the light, for example, not because the small jolt I feel is excruciating but because it takes a while to recover from it and because avoiding these stressors means I might not get worse and I might improve. (Other, larger, devices give more discomfort, sometimes a lot more). I used to be able to use a toaster, a coffee grinder, a waffle iron, a blender, a food processor, an insinkerator, a flashlight, an electric shaver, a vibrator, a computer keyboard, a cordless phone, a cell phone, a laptop, a digital camera, a cook stove, a refrigerator, an electric blanket, a pellet stove, a heating pad, an air conditioner, a television, a DVD player, a ceiling fan, a floor fan, a dishwasher, a laundry machine, an iron, a vacuum cleaner, a lawn mower. There is no need for 5g radiation.

I hade to leave my apartment due to 5g cell towers . And I stay in a car when the signals are strong. It makes me sick and is a huge health risk. And there is no excuse to expose people to this unknowingly. It is a shame.

I lost my career due to EMF. I hold a Master's degree in engineering, in my last job I worked thirteen years as a computer systems engineer at a major university.

Now I live in a remote part of Arizona, the nearest cell tower is eight miles away. I had to ask a friend to enter this statement for me, as I can no loner use computers.

I am very concerned that Wireless Radiation has not been adequately studied for adverse health and environmental impacts on humans and other life forms. Since the early days of cell phones, wireless radiation has increased exponentially while the general health, as well as life expectancy, of the population has declined. How much of this, if any, is causative is unknown because it hasn’t been studied.

Ignorance does not make it safe. Anyone around in the ‘80s was warned of the dangers of radiation from the new microwave ovens. Especially for those with pacemakers. Now people wear Bluetooth transmitters on their ears and hold powerful cell phones to their ears. Apple says keep the phone a short distance from your ear. That can only mean they fear litigation for “frying people’s brains”.

We need to know what are safe levels for all the various wireless radiation sources, both separately and collectively. This needs to be based on protecting the most sensitive members of population.

Please do what’s right for the people, not what most profits big tech.

I am personally affected by dirty electricity, which is the only exposure I cannot avoid at all. I found out the hard way by living a mile away from a casino. I couldn’t buy a house I wanted (In the country!!) because it was too close to another casino. My symptoms are immediate itchiness all over, followed by itchy bumps, followed by rash & then leaky pus, much like poison ivy, only in protected areas---groin, armpits, face. And the loss of appetite, nausea, dizziness, insomnia & extreme exhaustion. I avoid EMFs, RFs, and Wireless because I have a friend with issues & I read The Invisible Rainbow. Not having a smart phone is EXTREMELY limiting, but necessary. My computer is hardwired & these days, which no longer supports the technology, is not as reliable as WiFi. I cannot have home security system as they all require WiFi. Too much Wifi causes tingling in my ear & hand while using a flip phone, which also are now not only hard to find but very unreliable. I had to search hard for a DUMB TV. I am concerned that if infrastructure does not continue to support wired internet connections, I may need to move or go without internet. PLEASE RESTORE LOW INCOME ACCESS!

I strongly believe that other cable/wired options should be made permanently available to all who need or desire them & that technology supported. I am greatly concerned about the affect of wireless technology on people, especially children, who are not only exposed to unsafe, untested exposures, but seem to have lost their social skills, their communication skills, their connection to the real world, including nature. It’s killing our bees, our insects & affecting our natural food supplies. It’s harming wildlife, and ecological systems & killing trees. It’s EXTREMELY vulnerable to weather, terrorism & corporate/tyrannical control, affecting national security. Also if harm occurs, people should be compensated for injury, illness, or loss with CLEAR & PRECISE language on the symptoms, agencies to contact

Bottom Line; I’m against it. I prefer the already taxpayer funded, safer, faster & more reliable & more DEMOCRATIC fiber-optics.
