I am extremely concerned about emf damage to people’s health, the environment and even to city infrastructure. 

The main response I’ve heard from the Telecom companies is, that no matter what the evidence, they are simply complying with FCC guidelines, end of story. So, we're not allowed to mention health concerns, because TeleCom devices and equipment comply within safety guidelines set way back in 1996, 30 years ago?  With advances in technology occurring at lightening speed? There is ample evidence today, why the health issue must be addressed by everyone and why we all must care.

By the FCC's own admittance, its regulations are long outdated. 

Way back in 2013, in light of evidence backed by substantial science on health risks, the FCC was questioning itself regarding the accuracy of their own limits with regard to the potential health hazard of electromagnetic fields. I refer to the Document from the Federal Register dated 06/04/2013, Docket Name Human Exposure to Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Fields. This suggests that the FCC was having to review the issue years ago, though nothing changed while the emts have proliferated and amplified.

With regard to the health risks of emf radiation, I cite just one report of many, The BioInitiative Report, of 2012, by 29 independent scientists, stating that biological effects are clearly established and occur at very low levels of exposure to electromagnetic fields and radiofrequency radiation from just minutes of exposure to mobile phone masts (cell towers), WI-FI...  and on.  http://www.bioinitiative.org/conclusions

As for its effects on infrastructure, I cite a letter from Chief Science Officer Curtis Bennett,  Journeyman Electrician Engineering Technologist, to the Energy Minister of British Columbia, March 7, 2012. Bennett states " Blanketing areas with frequencies for ease of communication has serious ramifications on buildings and infrastructure that requires immediate attention. Frequencies blasting across the atmosphere to communicate with smart devices will interact with all infrastructure…  Buildings subjected to frequencies have to be designed for it." Bennett goes on to elaborate about liabilities. The entirety of his letter is disturbing.

Technology has moved at lightening speed and science, with longer term studies now exposing data… the alarm is sounding.

Thank you for listening to what we all have to say on the matter. I have seen first hand the impact of EMFs on loving things... everything from the sharp rise in cancer cases (brain cancers especially in relation to cell phone use) to plants dying once smart meters have been installed. It doesn't seem right that we should be able to be forced to live under such conditions... while some people might believe they are completely unaffected (although the most likely are at the cellular level), others suffer greatly from the ever increasing amount of EMFs in our world. If it's something you cannot opt out of, it should not be everywhere. There are also serious questions about the use of these more powerful antennas in conjunction with surveillance tools like flock cameras. Our constitutional rights are supposed to protect us from invasion of our privacy. It's time to say no to ever increasing power and technology in these areas.

As a person whose body was described as "A WALKING CELL TOWER", my body has been filled with biological electronics, a.k.a. micro and nanochips WITHOUT MY CONSENT possibly starting when I was 8 years old. Today, I am 72 years old and ALL of my health concerns are contributed to electromagnetic and radiation exposure. I write as an individual consumer, patient, family member, and caregiver to speak of my personal experiences and of experiences of a loving daughter who helped to care for my mother who had a diagnosis of Alzeheimer's-Dementia that was later found to be brain damage to her hippocampus. My dad, at 72, developed gangrene in the heel of his foot that can now be proven to be from microwave radiation assaults with a laser wand for military directives. My right heel has been microwaved as I work to save it from tissue breakdown. In 2014, I had a body scan done by a private investigator. She found 53 implants on the microTesla units scale in 35 locations of my body. These areas included almost every muscle, organ, major bone groups and three locations of my brain. These implants were found to be data sources for multiple research projects. Some of this research was sanctioned, some was not. Even today, my body is being used for horrendous child's play by non-professional, unethical people whose psychological soundness is questionable. A second body scan was completed by a professional in another area of the country in 2023. This time, 23 SEMICONDUCTORS were identified in some of the same locations as the 2014 scan. Other areas of my body including both legs are recepticals of excessive amounts of radiation designed to cause certain amputation. My step-dad was an amputee of first the toe, then the foot and finally up to the knee of the same leg. Today, a radiation technician supervisor is showing me how the same thing is intended for my body. My step-dad became a dialysis patient after the amputation and a semiconductor was found in 2023 AFTER the microTesla implant there was found in the same kidney in 2014. My comments to potential adverse health and environmental effects of RF radiation I live in Sweden and am posting this comment because I suffer from the disability known as electrohypersensitivity (EHS), which is well documented in the form of medical certificates, confirmed in a double-blind scientific test in Germany and, not least, through the constant ‘blind tests’ that occur in everyday life. My reactions to a wireless wifi router have been documented in a scientific double-blind stress test in which heart rhythm (HRV) was clearly disrupted at a level as low as one millionth (0.000001) of the Swedish limit value of 10,000,000 μW/m² established by the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority. Many of my friends here in Sweden, like me, feel very unwell and are struggling to escape the radiation from wireless technology. In 2015, the general public in Sweden were asked by the Public Health Agency of Sweden (Folkhälsomyndigheten) whether various environmental factors affect health. 5.2 per cent of respondents said that they were bothered by car exhaust fumes more than once a week. In large cities, 10–12.2 per cent reported being very or extremely disturbed by traffic noise. Questions about “electromagnetic fields from, for example, mobile phones and antennas” and “electromagnetic fields from, for example, electrical appliances and power lines” had also been asked. 4 However, the results were not published in the same way as those for noise and car exhaust fumes. Following a request, the results were provided to the Swedish Association for the Electrohypersensitive. 35.2 per cent of respondents said that their health is negatively affected and 10.6 per cent said that their health is significantly affected by mobile phones and masts. Overall, 45.8 per cent reported a negative or significantly negative impact.5 This shows that the problem of ill health caused by radiation from wireless technology needs to be taken seriously and is considerably greater than many other serious environment-related health problems. As a parent and teacher of kids who use technology regularly, we need to know what the physiological, mental and health effects of these types of frequencies and radiations are. Please do real science and research and use it to make policy that protects American citizens and children.

My family is sensitive to electromagnetic radiation (EMR) and are unfortunately exposed to more and more EMR every time we go to town. 5G cell towers are popping up everywhere and the march of smart gadgets are hard to avoid. I personally get severe headaches when I’m near WIFI for any length of time. We have to pay our electric company extra every month to avoid having a smart meter placed outside our bedroom. The corporate push to use EMR in all aspects of our daily lives is literally killing us and needs to be regulated through new independent scientific studies overseen by reputable non-profits like the Environmental Health Trust. Why has HHS not conducted regular safety studies on new cell phones using 5G and 6G? We know that 2G-4G negatively impacted rat health in laboratory studies. The evidence is there but the public continues to be misled and unprotected by irresponsible corporate greed. Lawsuits are overdue on the subject of human EMR exposure! We trust HSS will serve the public good and do the right thing in regulating EMR in the near future. Thank you

Nature, duration, frequency, timing: Started in May, 2012, (so 14-years) with the installation of a non UL approved, constant transmitting smart meter on my home. Smart meter came from China. I was COMPLETELY healthy prior to that time. The results from the injury still persists. 3c. Adverse health effects: Welting, itching, burning, peeling of the skin on my face, neck and upper and elbow creases of both arms; heart palpitations, headaches, dizziness. 3d. Time from exposure to appearance of adverse effects; did a change coincide with onset: Time from first exposure to appearance of adverse health effect: 1-week. Yes, change in exposure did/does coincide with onset of adverse effects. I had none of the adverse effects prior to first exposure. 3e. Medical evaluation sought? Diagnosis? YES. Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity currently renamed to Electromagnetic Spectrum Syndrome; my term is Electromagnetic Spectrum Injury. 3f. Steps taken to reduce exposure; subsequent changes in effects: Yes. I requested that the smart meter be removed from my home and I was told by the utility company I'd have to pay $50/mo. to "opt out". I told them I never "opted in" and that I wanted the meter off my house. The utility company complied approximately 14-months later. I keep my cellphone on airplane mode and ask others to do the same when I'm with them; I have a hard-wired computer; I limit visiting homes of family and friends who don't understand the effects of electromagnetic field/electromagnetic radiation overexposure; I limit flying because of the massive amount of EMF/EMR in the airport and on a plane when cellphones are active; I drive a 2005 vehicle which has low EMR, removing all metals from my mouth, which is an extremely slow and expensive process. I find it incredibly irresponsible that our United States government allows EMF radiation to be so rampant in our nation without proper "long term" safety studies!

We need a responsible government and not a good old boys club exchanging money to push this stuff thru. We've become completely sold out to big corporations regardless of what they sell from pharmaceuticals, communications, energy, tech, oil, etc. And why is the comment period so short?

I had to go to the emergency room back in 2019 right after my vacation. The first day I ever encountered five g wireless in a home at an air bnb rental in Florida. I asked the emergency room if they had seen this before from sensitivities. My skin opened up with ulcers all up and down my legs, and my belly button had a softball sized lump that exploded with pus. Ive since learned to cope but I see my children now affected im having to disconnect the modeum as much as possible and moved away from the city. Its terrible I pray for those making the wrong decisions for our planet to step up now before its too late.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a husband and father. We live in a condominium community and there are 6 so-called "smart meters" on the other side of the wall of my son's bedroom. My son is autistic, has seizures and is non-verbal. I always suspected that wireless radiation was one of the causes of his condition. Right after with wireless meters were installed, I called con edison and asked them if they knew how safe they were. Their response was that the meters were approved by the FCC. That is their only answer to this day. Being a graduate of mass communications, I know a bit about FCC regulation. The FCC has nothing to do with people's health. They only check to see if devices interfere with other communication devices. They also told me that the previous meters had also been wireless, but a meter man had to drive alongside the meters to get the reading. I told con edison that I wanted to opt out of the wireless meters. It was almost useless because there are 5 other wirelessmeters on my son's wall, but I did it anyway. I am now charged extra money because I am concerned for my son's health and nobody in New York government (who gave con edison permission to install the meters) seems to care at all. A couple of days after the meters were installed, I was feeling unwell at work and started to drive home. For the first time in my life, I had heart palpitations. I didn't know what was happening so I called 911. An ambulance took me to the hospital. After following up with a cardiologist, he put me on Xanax and I have been on it ever since. There was also an uptick in my son's seizures. He is now on 5 medicines to help control the seizures and he is unable to make it to school regularly. I had planned for us to move out of here, because I had seen a couple of houses where the people moved the meters away from the house. I had planned the move to be for 2020. But then, the pandemic hit and real estate in Westchester got out of control and out of reach for middle class families. I…

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a patient. EMFs, RF and Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) have dramatically affected me. Please note my list of symptoms below triggered by EMFs, RF and EMR that began after 2010, intensified until I was forced to stop working due to these symptoms in May 2014 and continue to this day. I was a partner in the largest CPA (certified public accounting) firm in our county, and was at the peak of my career. My dream home had to be sold to pay ongoing medical bills and eliminate our mortgage. My husband and I had to move to a mobile home to exist and have poured considerable money into the home to shield from EMFs, RF and EMR. I am completely overwhelmed with the medical symptoms triggered by and it is a day-to-day struggle to survive. Specific triggers of EMFs, RF and EMR for me include, but are not limited to exposure to: Cell phones, Cell towers, Smart meters, Computers, wireless phones, laptops, EV, Most vehicles built after mid 2000s, Cellular satellites, LED bulbs, LED light displays, smart watches, wireless hearing aids, and, hearing loops. My symptoms when exposed to EMFs, RF and EMR include: Vise-like painful grip circling head, Knife-like sharp pains in head, Migraine lasting min 6hr to max of 4 days, Vertigo, Disorientation, Heart arrythmia, Shortness of breath, Chest pressure, Slurred speech, Blurry eyesight, Visionary mirrors related to migraines, Hands shaking, and, Extreme exhaustion. My ongoing limitations include: Almost completely housebound leaving home only for emergencies or medical appointments. It takes days to recover from migraines and other symptoms noted above after leaving our shielded home; Prevented from traveling via airplanes, ships, modern vehicles, train; Prevented from staying in hotels, friends’ or relatives’ homes; Prevented from attending outdoor holiday lights displays, LED light shows, parades; Limited access to worship, theatre, live performances, sports events – anywhere that has sound systems under new FCC frequency…

I’d like to comment about the Wi-Fi towers or whatever they are. They definitely block both of my ears if I’m in a place of business that has a strong Wi-Fi my ears will also plug sometimes it takes over an hour to calm down. I’d be more than happy to be studied because it is truly a real thing. …not very fun and clearly just getting worse with more of the towers going up. Thank you for your time.

I am a female U.S. citizen and USAF veteran and have suffered with tinnitus/sleep issues during and after my Air Force enlistment. Since February 2024 (living in an apartment complex near MacDill AFB), I now experience increased symptoms of severe tinnitus, insomnia, EMF/WIFI sensitivities, nausea, dizziness, balance issues, eye pressure, head pressure and headaches, erratic heart rate spikes waking me out of sleep. Along with other veterans who have commented on this forum, I agree there are serious issues that need to be investigated. Government employees are not the only people experiencing AHI/Havana syndrome symptoms. Civilians, U.S. veterans, and military members are also suffering from the same symptoms.

f. Commercially available silver fabric enclosure, including grounding wire, sufficient to fully attenuate 99 percent of 5G type band radio frequencies received by my body.

I used this device by sleeping inside on a nightly basis for seven days. Noted consistent effects on mental state within five minutes, including profound relative clarity, calm and ease. Effects on sleep quality including consistent elevated mood and improved energy persisting through the following day, sleep duration required to perceive being fully rested consistently timed to be reduced from eight hours per night over the previous seven days to seven hours per night.

g. Trifield EMF meter model TF2 used to measure electromagnetic frequency exposure for my location kept consistent within two feet of measurement during the seven days of using of the silver fabric enclosure. Taking several measurements: radio frequency was within 40-113 mW/m^2 with the majority of the measurements near the mean. Magnetic field strength was likewise measured and read consistently 0.1 and 0.2 weighted for high frequency mG. AC electric field strength was likewise measured and read consistently 0 and 0 weighted V/m.

Dear Secretary of Health and Human Services,

I urge you to make the potential health effects of electromagnetic fields (EMFs), radiofrequency radiation, and continuous wireless exposure a public health priority.

Where is the comprehensive, independent, long-term research demonstrating that a lifetime of continuous wireless exposure is safe for human health at every stage of development? The absence of definitive evidence of harm is not the same as proof of safety. Our children and future generations deserve answers, not assumptions.

Quantum physics reveals that matter and energy are deeply interconnected, and the human body depends on intricate electrical and biochemical processes. Why, then, would we dismiss legitimate questions about how chronic exposure to external electromagnetic fields might affect biological systems? We must follow the science wherever it leads, free from industry influence.

We are already dealing with a healthcare system that too often prioritizes managing disease over investigating its root causes. Too many people feel trapped in a system that relies on costly, patented pharmaceuticals while underinvesting in prevention and broader approaches to health. When financial incentives reward treating illness, we must ask whether enough attention is being given to preventing it in the first place.

When will human health matter more than a business model? When will transparency matter more than profit? People deserve a healthcare system that serves them—not one in which financial interests overshadow prevention, scientific integrity, and public well-being.

I call on HHS to fund truly independent, long-term research into wireless radiation and human health; disclose uncertainties honestly; protect children and other potentially vulnerable populations; and ensure that public health policy is never dictated by corporate interests.

Our bodies are not merely markets. Our health is not a commodity. And our children's well-being must never be an acceptable gamble.

The American people deserve truth, accountability, prevention, and a healthcare system that puts human life before profit.

When will we finally make that our priority?
