I am very interested in EMF regulation. Our world envelops us more and more with EMFs and no way to avoid exposure. I think public education is needed to make everyone aware of this invisible danger to our health and learn of ways to mitigate it. If EMFs could be minimized rather than maximized in smart meters, appliances, cell phones, cars, etc then we could live healthier lives. Rather than having connectivity be prioritized, I would love a world where our health is the priority.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure.

I am responding from the perspective of a family member of a person impacted by EMFs.

The lady in question had huge headaches, ear ringing, sleepless nights, increasingly irritable, caused problems in her family. I told her to turn off the wifi router as much as possible, she could only turn it off during the night. It made all the difference. All symptoms disappeared within a few days.

My family had short livied similar issues, which made us hard-wire our house and use blocking materials on our walls and windows. We now have no issues, long gone.

I am responding from the perspective of an 82 yr old woman that is now pretty much homebound, since 2010. We retired & bought a house in this area in 2002. My husband worked a job to help get our house paid for [which we did do]. There were plans for a cell tower to be put up on the edge of our small town. My husband petitioned the city [I am unable to petition for my self as I am unable to be around wifi or cell phones]. The city decided to refuse the cell tower, however, they put up the cell tower on private land just next to the city. When that tower went up, I struggled to just live. Was sick a lot. I am able to have a computer only because we have 3 different type of shields on the computer to protect me. Plus it is hardwired. I researched. We spent $10,000 putting shielding in the attic, painting interior walls with a lead paint, covers for the patio door & windows. Felt better then, however I was never able to go in the back yard at all & could only walk to get the mail in front of the house. Could never be outside at all for any length of time. A friend told me that 5G was sure to come into our area & all we had done to protect me would not protect me from 5G. So we began house hunting again. Every area had cell towers or boosters. Finally found a few acres 30-35 miles away. So it was sell our PAID FOR house & build a house. Of course, could not do it without getting a loan AGAIN. So at our age we have a mortgage AGAIN Even though we went from 1280 sq ft home that had a second level to a one level 3 bedroom home, with nothing extra. Difficult to move at our age. So now, we live in the country, surrounded by hills to protect me [there is some cell service here, however I have been able to tolerate it] unless our neighbors sell their property & someone builds next to us. Then I am in trouble again as I would have to deal with wifi & boosters. So I'm still not secure. We could not afford to drill a well, so my husband hauls water on an old truck to fill our cistern. It is not easy for us here. My husband is now 87 yrs old. I order our groceries & he drives 14 miles to pick them up at the store. I am unable to go away much at all. Sometimes do not leave…

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure.

I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public. Among my concerns is the constant, static-like noise in my head that only silences when I am away from wireless devices and transmitters. As you can imagine, this space is harder and harder to find.

I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.

I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.

Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I am a mother and grandmother and very concerned about EMF and radiation exposure. I support HSS examining health effects from exposure, I avoid ear buds, turn off my router at night and try to have my bedroom free of plugged in items that give off EMFs. From research and testimonies I believe this to be one of the top health risks to our children. Thank you for looking into this matter for the health of this nation.

Hi. I am a sovereign American citizen who is concerned about the effects of people’s health from these radiation devices. Why is it for many years America was the only country who refused to test study the radioactivity? It has been a proven fact that Bee hives are destroyed that are in close proximity of the frequencies so what does it do to people? The animals respond to it, they even sense they are bad. Do you think you and your loved ones will be protected from the health problems like headaches, miscarriage's, tumors, cancer, and even death to name a few that this causes or do you plan on living in a underground bunker? It is affecting many people in buildings and homes with the 5G frequencies meter boxes high voltage regulations and when you go to the hospital you come out more sicker because of the magnetic field that it has the frequencies with WiFi throughout the corridors and the patient's room. I am an 80 year old female retired real estate broker who has experienced watching wireless radiation being increased every year for the last 30 years! Every year we all get more and more exposure! I have become very sensitive to the point that I could feel my nerves being irritated and could not sleep! I had to buy an EMF protector to put in my bedroom so I could sleep. I also have seen the effects of the wireless radiation effecting my grandchildren! Their little bodies are more vulnerable than adults! I always charge my cell phone in another room but the just wifi in the house is G5, and I know the phone companies are all getting geared up to put out G6 wireless that is going to hurt everyone even more and possible kill us! The Department of Health and Human Services was formed to protect humanity! It does not appear to me that you are doing you job! I would think that you would want to start taking your responsibilities more seriously to protect and save humanity who were created by God, the same as you were and in the end we all answer to God!

I am a Medical Doctor and I treat patients with ElectromagneticHypersensitivity, (EHS). From a fireman sleeping only 60 feet from a cell tower in the firestation, after 13 years, he developed a brain tumor that needed surgery and then a shunt, he developed insomnia and anxiety, he became infertile with a very low sperm count, he got depressed and confused, all thought to be from cell tower non-ionizing radiation exposure.

I became aware of cell phone radiation when my husband and I began shopping for our first cell phone using a chart supplied listing make/model/radiation emitted. We chose a balance of low radiation and price. I first became aware of my sensitivity to radiation as a child when entering a department store from a mall and experienced discomfort audibly as being very high frequency. I next became aware of my sensitivity to radiation when entering our local bank. Qhen entering, the ladies would say " we should have known it was you coming, Deb, as our computers froze." Recently, at church, a friend was trying to show us photos of his mission trip but his phone had locked up. I explained thisnhappened a lot, walked away while my husband explained this weird phenominon to him. Once I got far enough from his phone, the man was able to scroll to the photo he was seeking. His mouth dropped open in surprise as I walked back for a repeat. I call this the prince of the power of the air but know that it is radiation on many forms. I can not be in my house with wifi or use a hot spot without wearing tin foil on my head or my stainless steel mixing bowl lined with an apron on my head as the bones in my head feel as if they are being compressed, my jaw begins to ache, my chest feels compressed, i get a headache and can not think correctly, i also become tired. My car thankfully os older so I feel ok while driving it. We need a new car however finding a salesperson willing to invest the time on locating a low tech vehicle plus the other specifics we desire is problematic. Finally, since moving to KY, we have sought someone who was blood vector literate, as our children were both conceived having absorbed all of my infections. At age 39, I was diagnosed by Hopkins with MS. My MRI showed 3 plaques on brain, neck aand spine. Blessidly, at age 50, we took our child to the Amen Clinic where Dr. Joseph Anaboly saved our lives by directing us to ILADS.org where our children and my husband and I…

In 2017, I was diagnosed with GAD due to strong feelings of stress/panic, muscle tension (especially in jaw), and trouble breathing. I was given fluoxetine and took magnesium and a B-vitamin complex, which all seemed to help. Since my marriage in 2020, my family has sought to decrease our RF/EMF exposure because of health issues my husband was experiencing (he has submitted his own comment). By then, I had stopped taking fluoxetine because I hoped to get pregnant. My anxiety improved over the first few years of our marriage, so that I now no longer consider myself to have GAD. I suspect that my anxiety symptoms improved because of my family's efforts to reduce RF/EMF exposure; my symptoms reappear at times that correlate with RF/EMF exposure. I first realized this when my favorite armchair was positioned over an ungrounded extension cord running to a nearby lamp: whenever I had been sitting in the chair for a while, I would feel extremely anxious and tense and have trouble breathing, even if nothing stressful was going on. When my husband wrapped the cord in aluminum foil and attached a grounding wire to it, the problem went away. I have noticed similar recurrences of my anxiety symptoms, as well as increased brain fog, memory trouble, concentration trouble, obsessive/repetitive thoughts, and general malaise when exposed to smart meters up to about 30' away, a smart garage door opener about 20' away, and bluetooth and wi-fi at distances exceeding 10'. I usually notice the feeling before I realize what's causing it, and when the source is turned off, the symptoms go away, sometimes instantly and sometimes fading more slowly. We recently discovered that dirty electricity may also cause me problems. We were living in a house where I was having all of the symptoms I've already mentioned stronger than normal, and my husband asked me to sit on a couch where I had felt those symptoms particularly strongly before while he systematically turned the circuits in the house on and off until we isolated the circuit that the garage freezer was on. I felt fine when the circuit was on and the freezer was not running, but once the freezer kicked on, even though it was halfway…

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a patient diagnosed with EMR Syndrome and as an UNPAID 24x7, care-giver to my special needs sister who has also been diagnosed with EMR Syndrome. Due to "years" of continuous, accumulative, 24x7, non-stop exposure from the combination and interaction of multiple and simultaneous RF radiation sources including but not limited to: smart meters, antennas, cell towers, other people's cell phones and i-watches, self check-out registers, vehicle sensors, LED lighting all public places, Flock cameras, security cameras (hospitals, health care settings, public places) smart TV's public places, public transportation, amusement parks (no more Disneyland), "Un-regulated and Un-Accounted" for antennas on neighbor's homes plus neighbor's RF radiation from their smart meters, solar panels and multiple WiFi sources. I have to take care of my sister on top of trying to take care of myself while battling EMR Syndrome. My sister can't communicate how she feels. It's by her behavioral issues and/or mood when I know RF radiation is affecting her and my RF meter never fails to substantiate. Prior to the rollout of 5G, we went to the gym 4 days per week, church weekly, outings with friends, movies, lunch or dinner regularly, birthday parties, had zoo memberships, vacations and a lot of LIFE! Now we are "semi-prisoners" in a shielded home that still isn't enough. This has all been taken away from us and we no longer have the quality of life that we had in the past prior to the deployment of 5G and by the FCC not placing a moratorium to study the health affects on humans when in fact they were given overwhelming evidence of the harm to humans, animals and the environment. We have been denied our quality of life and disenfranchised by the FCC. Our special needs community is even more vulnerable because a lot of this population is non-verbal and some can't process exactly what is happening to their bodies when exposed to RF Radiation.
