A telecommunications company can install an antenna directly outside our bedroom windows, and the health concerns of the people who will live beside that equipment are legally restricted from influencing the siting decision. I am not opposed to cellular technology. I recognize its importance. But there is an enormous difference between supporting wireless infrastructure and being forced to accept a new source of continuous, involuntary RF exposure immediately outside one's home, without notice, meaningful input, or the ability to raise health concerns as a basis for opposing its location. The current framework places tremendous weight on federal exposure standards. But are those standards sufficiently protective of people who live in close proximity to wireless infrastructure for years or decades? HHS is responsible for making sure the exposure to electromagnetic radiation is safe. Thus far, it has not been proven safe, and the exposures allowed in our country are magnitudes higher than that allowed in the EU.
Please examine both the scientific evidence and people’s experiences regarding the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by the appropriate federal agencies with expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health.

Fast forward to years later when I found her sleeping in a room where there was a wifi modum on the other side of the wall where she was sleeping. I asked her why she wasnt reactinf to the emf coming from it and she said since she had put 3 rather large obsidian crystals in front of it they had stopped bothering her. I thoufhr that was very interesting until a couple of months later she became very ill . Thats when I discovered that she had 4 golf ball sized tumora growing in her breast tissue. We had it biopsied and it was cancer. She died a week later.
