I am an individual, a consumer and a patient. I am affected by Wi-Fi, wireless infrastructure, mobile phones, smart meters, wearable devices, and occupational equipment. I have developed chronic pain, chronic infections/illnesses, fatigue, reactivated EBV, terrible sleep issues, tingling/numbness, tinnitus, lack of or no interest in many things I once enjoyed and other issues. I along with everyone else, is constantly bombarded with electromagnetic waves penetrating our bodies. This comes from all sources as stated above, but let's start with Wi-Fi Infrastructure. I moved into a vertical condo tower after leaving my house from toxic mold. We thought this structure made of glass, steel and concrete would be safe, but it was a Wi-Fi only structure, and this was several years prior to Covid 2020. I thought the Wi-Fi only was strange but learned that new builds were this way. When Covid hit and many businesses were closed or with limited service, 5G cell phone towers were installed, and mostly in the cover of the night. There were 1297 towers and antennas within a 3 mile radius of my street address, and 8 of these under one (1) mile. And this is not including all the Wi-Fi within the vertical building but was at the time I moved from this place because I became so ill. I had to leave a home, again. At the present time, my new place of residence 377 towers and antennas but the structures are built basically on top of one another. It has It has been said, but not published, that Wi-Fi amplifies mold and mycotoxins by 600 times. I believe this. I had a blood mycotoxin test performed in late 2024 and it was red on each type. Wi-Fi is everywhere. The residence is not safe, even with safeguards. At any given time, you can see multiple listings of neighbors Wi-Fi, which could be accessible, with their passcode, inside of my residence. This not only creates health issues with the bombardment of radiation, but it also appears to me to be an Invasion of my Privacy. Now add in the Smart Meters and the mysterious health issues.... When did a private company have the right to establish this and destroy our health? and demand that the meters can't be removed? The constant…

Re: HHS-OASH-2026-0397 — Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure

I respectfully submit the attached public comment in response to the September 21, 2026, Request for Information, published at 91 Federal Register 59792–59794.

I am a parent of six and a public school educator with 24 years of experience in Los Angeles. My comments represent my individual perspective, not that of my employer.

My attached statement addresses Questions 2 and 5–18, with particular attention to children's exposure, wireless technology in educational settings, the adequacy of existing exposure standards, real-world exposure measurements, smart meters (Question 13(k)), long-term health research, environmental effects, and federal research priorities.

I request that HHS conduct a rigorous, independent, and transparent scientific review; distinguish established findings from emerging evidence and uncertainty; evaluate potentially sensitive populations; improve public access to reliable exposure information; and develop practical, evidence-based guidance for families, schools, and communities.

I recognize the benefits of wireless technology. My request is for scientifically justified public health protections, accurate information, and meaningful oversight.

Please include my attached three-page PDF in the official administrative record as my complete public comment.

Respectfully submitted,

Anura F. Lawson

Reports worsening symptoms while living with multiple sclerosis and explicitly expresses uncertainty about whether EMFs contribute. Requests protection of people with chronic illness and research considering reported experiences, scientific evidence and vulnerable populations.

Original comment · unedited text

I have multiple sclerosis which produces such varied symptoms that I cannot say with any certainty that my health issues are entirely M.S. related, or are related to constant exposure to EMFs. I do know that my symptoms are worsening and many (such as constant, severe bodily pain, constant digestive issues, memory issues) are not typically M.S. I do have odd neurologic issues, such as neuropathy in legs and feet and cognitive issues which may be related to M.S. or may be related to EMFs. Regardless, persons suffering from chronic disease, such as M.S., should not be exposed to further environmental burdens, such as EMF exposure. So, I urge you to carefully consider the impact EMFs have on society as a whole and especially on those of us already on overload from a serious chronic illness.

I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.

I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.

Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I have EMF and RF sensitivity that cause me crippling fatigue, head pressure, tinnitus that is unbearable at times, and severe brain fog. Since moving across the street from a 5G tower, my quality of life has been deteriorating and I am continuing to get sicker. The symptoms have intensified since a smart meter was installed in my apartment several months ago. This is no way to live.

1. Perspective represented I am submitting this response in my personal capacity as an individual consumer and as a person who considers themselves affected by exposure to electromagnetic fields and radiofrequency radiation. I live in France and am therefore providing an international perspective. Although this Request for Information is primarily directed toward the United States, the experiences of people who report being affected by electromagnetic fields are not confined to one country. I therefore believe that international personal testimonies may also contribute useful information to this consultation. I am participating in order to share my experience and concerns and to contribute to a broader understanding of the issues reported by individuals in their daily lives. 2. My comments represent the perspective of an individual consumer with personal concerns regarding exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields. I am responding in my personal capacity and not on behalf of any organization. 3. Personal experience regarding potential adverse health effects associated with RF/EMF exposure I am submitting this response based on my personal experience. I have experienced a number of health problems that I believe may be associated with exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF/EMFs), particularly during or following periods of exposure to electronic and wireless devices. The health effects I have experienced include: genital pain; fertility problems; abdominal pain; pain in the kidney area; rapid onset of fatigue when working in front of a computer screen; significant intestinal discomfort and inflammation; excessive intestinal gas and bloating; diarrhea. These symptoms have had a tangible impact on my daily life. In particular, I notice that I can become fatigued very quickly when I remain in front of a computer screen. I am sharing these observations as my personal experience. I believe that such individual testimonies should be considered alongside scientific and medical evidence when assessing the potential health effects of RF/EMF exposure. I am submitting this testimony from France. I believe it is important for this consultation to…

My name is Andy Hinson. A 199-foot cell tower has been proposed to be sited near to my home and property in the North Carolina Piedmont. My disabled mother, who resides with me, has received letters from multiple doctors, including her personal care practitioner and her neurologist, asking that the tower be sited at a different location to prevent debilitating harm. One of the letters stated that the emissions from the base station could ultimately prove fatal to my mother. My property shelters an abundance of unusual flora and fauna, including Federally Endangered species. I have received letters and studies from multiple countries around the world stating the impacts to sensitive ecosystems, which include direct mortality in plants. Drastic decline is documented in pollinating insects, which could also affect crop production. Disruptive effects on bats have been documented by Dr. Paul Racey and Dr. Oliver Lindecke. Two deaths this year in NC are attributed to West Nile Virus (of 11 reported cases in 2026) and bats are natural predators of disease vector mosquitoes. New Hampshire House Bill 1644 recommended telecommunications antennas be 1,640 feet from residentially zoned areas. Particularly sensitive individuals such as my mother may require a greater separation, such as a minimum 2000 ft setback. ADA accommodation should be given to the sick and sensitive, and in extreme cases (such as doctor letters stating potentially fatal impacts) towers should be sited at least this distance. Cell towers should not be sited where Federally Endangered species are documented to be present. Avian collisions and other biological impacts may be lessened by required co-location of antennas on existing towers within a 2-3 mile area minimum. With cell phones people have at least some scant margin of choice, but with cell towers there is none. Agencies have long ignored biological impacts to humans under the excuse that studies on non-human subjects cannot be directly correlated. Perversely, there is no regulation to protect any non-human species, despite the vast scientific evidence. At cellular frequencies in experiments, ants have shown disorientation, relocation, weakened…

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure.

I developed a strong EMF and RF hypersensitivity 2.5 years ago after becoming severely ill with late-stage Lyme disease, Babesia, Bartonella and other co-infections. I later found out I also have Autoimmune Encephalitis and Hashimoto’s Thyroid. I get a bad migraine and vertigo when driving past cell towers or a radio station. I limit my time on a cell phone/computer or start to get dizzy and migraine, as well.

I think radiation, in general, contributed to my Hashimoto's thyroid that developed within the last few years, as well. I feel a "buzzing" sensation around my neck/chest when I'm on an electronic device. We turn our WiFi off at night because I can feel my thyroid or thymus gland buzzing while I'm trying to sleep, otherwise.

Based on my own experience and from talking to other people with similar health issues, I've concluded that EMF's, WiFi, and 5G are hard on people with diseases of the central nervous system and immune compromised individuals, in general. I grew up in the 80's and 90's and wouldn't mind going back to a simpler time without Smartphones or WiFi. No one wants or needs 5G or 6G, for that matter! Thank you for allowing this opportunity for public comment.

According to the National Institute of Health, there are severe, adverse, long-term biological effects with exposure to non-native EMF's. “The Invisible Rainbow” by Arthur Firstenburg also details, to a great extent, the exposures that other portions of the world (Germany, Asia, etc.) have already, under scientific study, diagnosed physiological effects as neurasthenia. I have had adverse biological effects due to long-term exposure to my Tesla Model Y 2022. I am highly concerned and angered by the fact that Tesla is allowed to -not inform customers of the hazardous effects their vehicles have on human life -subject people to high amounts of EMF radiation/poisoning -no recourse is present for customers whom have purchased it and later learned that health conditions they have developed are directly due to exposure -or, not allowed Tesla owners to rescind lease agreements and place the burden on Tesla for the purchase of the vehicle, after finding out after purchase the hazardous, biological affects of the vehicle. Non-native EMF's, such as those poured out like a mobile microwave that a Tesla is, directly affect human bodies and can be measured by a Geiger Counter. The magnetism count for the Tesla vehicle when utilizing the Geiger Counter is off the charts, and I spent the first two years (myself and my daughter) charging inside this vehicle and being exposed to high-concentrated amounts of radiation in the driver seat, in any seat as there are wi-fi/electrical sensors in the seating, the middle console, the battery itself, the steering wheel. What’s more, is any cell towers in nearby areas ping and increase the radiation exposure to an individual. I have healthy blood panel readings, but have observed the hair in my genital areas turning gray, and no other areas on my body graying. The hair on my head is not gray. I sit in my vehicle for long periods of time. Over the summer when I did not drive as much, it turned back to the original color. Tesla is subjecting young children and pregnant mothers with the equivalent of microwave radiation and no consumer warning is provided. I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public.

At this time, I am not sure if EMF's, RF, and Wireless Radiation Exposure is affecting me, but I do support people affected by wireless radiation. I believe HHS should address this issue because wireless radiation has grown exponentially since it was studied over thirty years ago.

Dear Staff at HHS:

Please know that in spite of the onslaught and pressure to have everything go "wireless", we face serious consequences to our earth, all of nature, and all of humanity. Please do everything possible to stand against this. I personally do not use wireless and suffered from an Addisonian Reaction to 5G in January 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic. I was struck immobile while walking home in Central Park. I could not move, This was when 5G was deeply launched in New York City. By the Grace of God, I was finally able to put one foot in front of another, take the subway, and go right to bed, The next morning I was much better. This was a COVID reaction. And 5G is considered one of the major causes of the epidemic. Also, it is historically documented that all the great scientists, i. e. Thomas Edison, all developed diabetes due to their long exposure to radiation. Diabetes has exploded around the world, in tandem with the overwhelming presence of wireless radiation. Please use your authority and power to "power" our country with renewable energy and benign sources. There are many experts in these fields who would be honored to partner with you in a global renewal of "Good Energy". It is also what our young people need to do and see and tp give them the opportunity for HEALING jobs. With many thanks, a believer in "choose the good".

I happen to be a person who is affected by wireless radiation. When my 36 year old cousin was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma back in 2012 I fell into researching why a disease previously known in older males would suddenly show up in a young mother of two. One hypothetical that was proposed was RF. My cousin had worn a RF headset at her job and the tumor was on the radiating side. So as a young mother myself I chose to (out of an overabundance of caution) limit my family's exposure to cellular, wifi and blutooth in our home. If you've known and loved a person with glioblastoma- you'd do the same. It literally ruined that family- financially, emotionally, in every way possible. My family has gone without RF (and have chosen homes that naturally block neighbors RF signals and cell towers) since then. Nothing fancy really, just being cautious. Oddly enough, or maybe because I spend so much time avoiding it, I am now symptomatic to BT and wifi. It takes several hours of exposure but there have been times when water, electrolytes, and sleep don't touch a headache and inevitably I'll pull out my RF meter just to double check that a device hasn't reset itself and is unknowingly pulsing somewhere in the house. And a surprising amount of time that is just what has happened. We turn it off and the headache resolves. I'm absolutely bewildered by my ability to sense it. Unfortunately, my father this last year also passed from a Glioblastoma. A cell tower was placed across the street from their home several years ago and his bedroom window was in direct line of sight of the antennas. While the neurologist assured us there is no 'genetic' marker (outside of very rare populations) for brain cancers running in families, I can't help but wonder with my sensitivity and two family members passing if we will stumble upon evidence for one in a couple years. Some sign that we are particularly susceptible to the non native wavelengths around us. My big ask here in commenting is two part: 1) Encourage doctors/epidemiologsts to look for the patterns in families and take note of possible RF sources and 2) Give those of us who are sensitive easy ways to protect ourselves from RF: mandate…
