i have a nurse friend that has been diagnosed with AlS and has to be in a wheelchair. Stetzerizer readings are normal in her outlets. Her home was built with digital meter placed right in her patio door entry at eye level so that every time she walks in and out of her doorway she gets emf'd. Using a meterk meter inside the house wall with the meter on the backside have unsafe levels reading high from the digital meter. The builder ran the digital meter connection under a concrete porch and maybe why her outlets read normal. But on wall inside and probably down the the sides of her house outside where beam is communicating with neighboring meters high emf. The husband and wife neighbors have passed away. Her electric bills are over $400.00.

There is a major problem where they are installing digital meters. There needs to be a safer distance away from high traffic areas like doorways. My daughter has 2 smart meters outside on wall shared with the bedroom. But on the wall of the room where two children sleep in a bed on that same wall with the meters. Not enough distance to be safe.

Electric companies are charging lot extra to allow opt outs. This lady is dying and living with what is probably killing her. Even if she does opt out from digital meter she still has that beam from neighboring meters running down the side of her house.

need to not charge extra to have safe installation. she's paying $400 a month now and says she can't afford more. Something so wrong. She's a lovely person and doesn't deserve having to live in a toxic house due to a meter location.

I urge the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to independently review the scientific evidence on radiofrequency (RF) exposure from cell towers, particularly potential non-thermal effects, long-term exposure, and antenna placement near homes, bedrooms, schools, and childcare facilities. Documented premature tower activation Official City of San Mateo correspondence states that Crown Castle energized 19 wireless facilities before receiving required final city inspections and approvals. The City demanded de-energization and identified outstanding construction, electrical, permitting, and compliance issues. In subsequent correspondence following a June 26, 2024 meeting, Assistant City Attorney Linh P. Nguyen reported that only seven of the 19 sites had received final inspections and approval, two had been de-energized for necessary work, and 10 remained essentially unchanged. The City also discovered additional facilities energized without its knowledge, including one with an expired permit and no final inspection or approval. The City warned of further enforcement action. These letters document serious compliance and oversight concerns. While they do not establish health effects, they raise questions about transparency, enforcement, and public safety. Community reports and my experience During this period, members of our community group began reporting headaches, tinnitus, insomnia, anxiety, feeling unwell, and feeling unusually “off.” Some asked whether the towers had been activated. At the time, neither I nor the residents contacting us knew they were operating. After making inquiries, we learned of the City's findings regarding Crown Castle's premature activation of multiple facilities. I cannot prove that RF exposure caused these symptoms, but the timing and similarity of the reports warrant investigation. This response addresses point 5 of the HHS remand in general, and 5.n in particular: “What scientific, technical, or regulatory changes by federal health agencies, if any, would improve the assessment, disclosure, and regulation of wireless radiation exposure.” Of particular concern are the assessments recommended by ICNIRP and IEEE ICES which underpin current exposure limits and will form the basis for future recommendations, as these assessments do not adequately meet reasonable scientific requirements, particularly when assessing studies investigating realistic RF-EMF exposures. Furthermore, these assessments apply requirements creating an in practice insurmountable evidentiary threshold before any non-thermal effect is given evidentiary weight, with serious consequences when setting exposure limits. This combination has so far produced conclusions of “no proof of risk”, which may be viewed as an artefact, i.e. produced by the assessments as such. Having studied this field for more than a decade, I have, together with scientific colleagues, developed a set of assessment criteria we consider necessary to improve the regulatory regime. These criteria aim to ensure that health risk assessments adequately consider studies investigating non-ionizing RF-EMF exposures below thermal levels, particularly under realistic exposure conditions, such as those encountered in everyday wireless communications. 1. Potential hazards and conclusions: Credible indications of potential harm must be identified and not disregarded due to a lack of full scientific certainty. All available evidence should be considered, and only excluded from the assessment based on scientific criteria such as serious flaws in the study design. 2. Distinguishing lack of evidence from evidence of no hazard: Insufficient evidence of harm must be distinguished from evidence that potential hazards are absent. 3. Transparent reporting: Evidentiary thresholds that reflect risk-management preferences must be explicitly identified. Risk-management preferences should not interfere with the risk-assessment. 4. I first noticed a light headed feeling when I was close to a modem many years ago. When I moved to another room, the feeling subsided. The next experience was when our power company installed smart meters wherever it was most convenient for them. They put one on my bedroom wall and I was dizzy, light headed and unable to sleep. I had to move and when it happened again at another rental unit, I was told I was too sensitive. I am unable to be close to modems for more than 15 minutes as I get dizzy and light headed, and have chosen to shut them off at night in order to sleep more soundly. I have found that I cannot live in some places because of the EMF fields and the radio frequencies, etc. and that if I can put up a 16" piece of sheet metal, on the wall where the smart meter or fuse box is, I cannot pretty much mitigate the intensity of the waves. I recently was visiting a home of a friend and felt very strange and light headed, almost losing my balance when I entered the bathroom, and it subsided when I went into the other room down the hall. I went back to that area and the same thing happened. I asked my friend and she said that their TV satellite dish was on the roof right at that room. And when I went into the bedroom to take a nap, the same thing happened. I looked on the wall and the smart meter was right on the bedroom wall and the neighbor's Satellite dish on their roof was aimed right at the bedroom as well. I had to leave the home as I was starting to feel very shaky from the EMF's and radio waves. Some of us are truly more sensitive than others to EMF, radio frequency waves and wifi. The cell towers they are putting into our communities are put right in front of people's homes and there are numerous cases of children and adults getting symptoms and there is nothing we can do about it because the county gave them permission to "help" us have better cell phone access and they are not required to alert the homeowners and phone companies are able to put them where they feel it is best for their company. I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.

I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.

A neighbor of mine, a former public official in a very responsible position has begun suffering from anxiety for the first time in his long life coincident with the rollout of 5G in our town. Doctors have been unable to find the cause. This person is now retired, spending most of his time at home helping with extended family child care. About 6 months ago a 5G station was installed on a pole on his street about 10 yards from his house. His formerly episodic anxiety has become nearly continuous and grown worse. In August he went on a two week family vacation in a fairly remote area with no cell service. He experienced a complete lack of anxiety at that location. His anxiety returned with a vengeance a few hours after he returned home. His doctor has advised him to move from his life long home to a rural location without cell service. This is not a controlled study, but as a natural history experiment it strongly suggests that there are serious health impacts from cell phone system radiation.

Every time i hold my cell phone to my ear to answer a phone call, I head a head buzz, feel spacy and brain fog. When I am in the city or near a cell tower I feel the same effects. The evidence has been proven for several years, thank you for now taking it into account.

5G proliferation along interstate highways is rendering my car's AM radio unusable. I first started noticing significant disruption of AM reception in my 2010 Toyota Sienna early summer 2025. Affected interstates in Massachusetts were extensive segments of I95, I24, I495, I295 in particular. Over time the affected segments elongated and merged to the point where my radio has become unusable. Since last summer, the interference spread to local roads to the point that AM is unusable almost anywhere. This has clearly been caused as 5G nodes began appearing on poles along our local streets. If the emf radiation is powerful enough to prevent me from listening to a 50,000 watt nearby clear channel AM broadcast station, what detrimental effects has it been having on people?

Dear Sirs/Madams,

I am requesting that the same level of consideration be given to persons with the functional impairment of electromagnetic sensitivity that would be accorded to any other disabled person. I know that doing so would disrupt great plans, but workarounds have been found for people with other disabilities. The argument that electromagnetic sensitivity does not exist and is just a figment of the sufferers imagination has been debunked numerous times. I attach two studies that I have on hand.

I also request that the health of children, in particular, be considered in the deployment of wireless equipment. Prof. Oleg Grigoriev of Russia's committee on non-ionizing radiation protection has said that, while he does not oppose the use of wireless communication, every home should have at least one room with low levels, and that room should be the children's room. Children should also limit the amount of time they spend engaging in high-exposure activities. Wired Internet connections can be installed in schools to reduce children's exposure there.

Thirdly, the environment needs to be considered. We face an extinction crisis due to many factors, all of which come back to human activities. I have witnessed a stepwise reduction of biodiversity in my neighborhood as new radiating infrastructure is introduced. The most notable reductions occurred shortly after smart electric meters were installed in the neighborhood and after 5G transmissions began. I attach my most recent observations in rural Japan, which include links to similar observations elsewhere. Most importantly regarding the future of our environment and humanity itself, people are noting a loss not only of pollinators, but of pollen itself, resulting in failure to fruit and sterile seeds when they do develop. The use of wireless radiation should take the environment into consideration and be limited to local urban centers, again ensuring that the full range of necessary services are available to persons who cannot tolerate or who should otherwise be protected from high-EMR environments.

Hello, I am reporting the health consequences that I have experienced as an average human, living an average life, with what I consider low to average daily radiation exposure. I use a smart phone, daily. I have a smart meter on my home from the local electric company. I drive down the streets, that are lined with cell phone towers. I use wifi in my home as an internet option. I use wifi at work. I use the 5G on my phone when wifi is not available. I use my smartphone mostly for texting and for searching the internet/ social media. I am a medical professional, but this is only a report of my personal life experiences. The first time I noted a distinct and obvious negative health consequence from using a cell phone was in 2017. I bought an iphone 10 as an upgrade to an iphone 6 and immediately noted that my hands felt like they were literally burning and on fire when I was holding and using the phone. I immediately contacted Apple, reported the burning sensation, and sent the phone back to them to confirm that it was not defective. They sent it back to me without confirming or denying there was a problem, but the symptoms continued, so I promptly sold the phone and went back to using my iphone 6. My hands continue to feel like they are burning after any prolonged use of a cell phone. I currently use an iphone 14 Pro. Any amount of time using the device causes my hands to tingle. The longer I hold this hand held device, the longer it takes for my burning sensation to recover. If I put it in airplane mode, I have minimal tingling in my hands, in comparison. If I completely stop using any handheld device, my hands stop tingling within a few hours, or a few days, depending on the recent duration of use. I have only had Apple cell phones in the past 20 years. The smart meter on my home has been giving me headaches. I have lived in a home with a smart meter attached to a main living room wall for the past 6 years and am increasingly sensitive to spending any time in that room. I have experienced tingling sensation at night, feels like vibration coming from my bed. Recently they have installed fiber optic cables. I also feel same sensation with wireless cable boxes. I can't sleep, it wakes me up late times of the night.

Please help our small community in Brookfield, Connecticut despite over 200 signatures from residence to stop the building of 175 foot cell tower literally across the street from private townhouses with hundreds of people and children play and walk and live. We have 3 to 4 towers about 3 miles from here on this community. We do not need a cell tower. It’s not even for our town of Brookfield. It’s for the town of Bridgewater across a beautiful lake that will also be impacted not to mention the bald eagles and the wild animals that we have here. The Sitting Council of Connecticut has approved it without any of our concerns has that answered any of our questions regarding the environment and the danger to the wildlife, not to mention the impact it will have on the health of hundreds of people, especially children. There’s a piece of private land that it’s being built on smack in the middle of all community literally across the street cell towers should never be built among people. Please help us stop the cell tower. We live at Lake Lillanonah Shores in Brookfield CT

I am a member of the public who has measured radiofrequency radiation using the Safe and Sound Pro II meter as well as electric and magnetic field strengths using the ME 3840B from Gigahertz Solutions. My family has been forced to move after developing symptoms including headaches, insomnia, nosebleeds, vomiting, muscle spasms, memory issues, and seizures from exposure to levels of non-ionizing radiation (RF-EMF peak 500,000+ μW/m2, magnetic field of 400+ nT) below the FCC limit that resolved with dramatically reduced exposure (RF-EMF peak less than 10 μW/m2, magnetic field less than 100 nT). Even childrens’ toys have wireless capabilities today. Establishing truly safe exposure levels is essential. I am writing to encourage you to consider the experiences of families like mine, the weight of scientific evidence already available, and the need for further study to protect the public health and to urge you to reconsider the current limits in light of the fact that they are not protective of human or environmental health.
