Results: Among participants, 2021 (94.0%) were using mobile phones and 129 (6.0%) were not. Among users, 49.4% were speaking <10 min and 52.2% were sending/receiving 75 or more messages per day. Headache, fatigue and sleep disturbances were observed respectively 1.90 (95% CI 1.30-2.77), 1.78 (1.21-2.63) and 1.53 (1.05-2.21) times more among mobile phone users. Dose-response relationships were observed especially for the number of calls per day, total duration of calls per day, total number of text messages per day, position and status of mobile phone at night and making calls while charging as exposures and headache, concentration difficulties, fatigue and sleep disturbances as general symptoms and warming of the ear and flushing as local symptoms. Subject: Public Comment Regarding the Health Effects of 5G Radiation

Dear Representatives of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services,

I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the long-term health effects of exposure to 5G radiation on the human body.

I work as a therapist using BICOM bioresonance technology and have extensive practical experience working with clients.

During my therapeutic practice, I have repeatedly observed that the BICOM device indicates an exceptionally high burden identified as 5G radiation in virtually all of my clients. According to the results of these bioresonance assessments, this burden is very significant, and I encounter it in almost every person I examine.

These repeated observations raise serious concerns for me about a possible connection between exposure to 5G radiation and the increasing prevalence of chronic illnesses commonly referred to as diseases of civilization.

I believe that the extent of this issue requires urgent attention from responsible public health authorities and thorough, independent scientific investigation into the long-term effects of 5G radiation on the human body.

I therefore respectfully request that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services:

1. Support independent, long-term scientific research into the biological and health effects of chronic exposure to 5G radiation.

2. Investigate the possible cumulative effects of prolonged exposure to 5G radiation on the human body.

3. Pay particular attention to the potential effects of 5G radiation on children, older adults, and individuals suffering from chronic health conditions.

4. Ensure transparency and independence in scientific research and the assessment of potential health risks associated with 5G radiation.

5. Review whether current exposure limits adequately protect the population against long-term exposure to 5G radiation.

I firmly believe that protecting public health must be the highest priority and that the long-term effects of 5G radiation on the human body deserve serious attention.

Good afternoon, my name is Tessa Tallakson. I have personally experienced harm from EMF’s and RF Radiation exposure. My symptoms included headaches, sleep disturbances, and fatigue. Please take this matter seriously as the public health risks are extremely concerning. Thank you for your time.

I am a 71-year-old woman who has been affected by computers, cell phones & fluorescent lights for most of my life. In the 90's, when I first learned to operate a desktop computer in a class that caused my memory to go blank, the instructor informed me of my condition when she said, “I've heard about people affected like you of electro-magnectic frequency. “ Then she said I will write you a medical excuse for dropping this class.

After becoming aware of this disability, I observed a series of difficulties in my everyday life, too numerous to mention. I would forget under fluorescent lights. I got a debilitating headache for days after the person who sat next to me on a plane turned on their cell phone & talked next to my head when our plane landed.

When a smart meter was installed on my house, I called & complained to Alliant Energy in Wisconsin.

I can't approach heavy electrical stations or voltage without intense uncomfortable sensations so that I feel like quickly leaving. The effects are very hard to describe how it makes me feel because often it is very subtle & just under my awareness until I leave the location.

I am always searching for remedies to help me adapt, but I really don't want to live in an environment that could make me sicker.

(IDI), Ithaca, NY PI: Joseph J Gerardi, jg@idiny.com Focus and Innovation: IDI proposes an integrated wearable and data platform to measure real-world radio-frequency and electromagnetic-field (RF/EMF) exposure while collecting time-aligned participant-reported symptoms, selected physiological biomarkers, and environmental context. An AI-enabled wearable would record RF/EMF exposure characteristics, including frequency band, field strength or power density, duration, and, where supported, modulation or source context. A companion application would allow participants to report symptoms such as tinnitus or headache, rate severity from 1–10, and flag significant events. Measurements would be time-stamped and synchronized with selected biomarkers such as heart rate and environmental information such as ambient temperature and geo-location. This approach would advance beyond retrospective recall, questionnaires, or isolated exposure measurements by creating a prospective, longitudinal record of actual exposure and associated health observations. Stop with all of the EMF's, they are ruining our health....

For over 15 years I had severe health issues with my heart, my digestion, brain fog, migraines, extreme fatigue light sensitivity and more. It took me about five years to figure out what the problem was after the medical profession was at a loss to explain my issues. Once I figured it out with the help of some friends I was on a mission to learn everything I could about EMF's and wireless. I spent about $10,000 on various quality equipment to measure electric and wireless. Included in the equipment was a quality microscope to view my blood and I was shocked how quickly blood responded to wireless signals. Wireless is just chipping away at the health of humans along with the flora and fauna.

The United States after India as the highest allowable microwave frequencies that are now ubiquitous coming from cell towers, cell phones and wifi.

The fact that the FCC is a captured agency led by the very industry it was meant to regulate is appalling. It is doing so much harm and most people like me had not a clue, I believed my government and telecom company, would regulate this industry to be safe, a big mistake on my part.

The governments across countries allow the telecom companies set up more telecom towers everywhere in residential location s, with greedy & illiterate politicians among developing and LDCs not bothered about their adverse health impacts. We researchers must undertake large-scale studies on this area. Unfortunately, the public is unaware of the consequences.

Debilitating symptoms I've been experiencing- escalating since 2015.

I am single, unemployed and have no health insurance or assistance of any kind, and for the most part practice a healthy lifestyle.

There is more, but this is what I can think of at the moment.

In searching for root cause of my symptoms after trying numerous modalities I came across the highly cited 1971–1976 Naval Medical Research Institute (NMRI) reports, often referred to in modern EMF literature as the "Glaser Report." And recognized the similarities and biological processes impacted matched. This led me to read other studies more recent including by the NIH. There is tons of information indicating emfs disrupt neurological and cellular function and even damaging DNA which seems to align with the health symptoms I personally have which is causing extreme physical and emotional suffering, in addition to causing financial, professional and relational issues.

I attempted to diffuse the emf signals to my home and devices by using Ethernet and turning off wireless but it made no impact. I've also tried unplugging my router overnight.

Is EMR the same mechanism through which people have been diagnosed with"Havana syndrome"? Also "targeted individuals" who suspect they are being attacked by Directed Energy Weapons? Are Directed Energy Weapons just EMR being channeled towards someone?

This summary synthesizes 18 peer-reviewed scientific publications co-authored by Joel M. Moskowitz, PhD, for formal submission to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Much of this work was conducted on behalf of the International Commission on the Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Fields (ICBE-EMF).

ICBE-EMF was founded in 2021 after being commissioned by the advisors to the International EMF Scientist Appeal, a petition signed thus far by more than 250 scientists who have published over 2,000 papers on EMF, biology, and health. The commissioners have endorsed the Appeal’s recommendations to protect public and environmental health and, moreover, is dedicated to ensuring the protection of humans and other species from the harmful effects of non-ionizing radiation.

Our primary purpose is to make recommendations, based on the best peer-reviewed scientific research publications, that include, and go beyond establishing numerical exposure guidelines. ICBE-EMF is made up of a multidisciplinary consortium of scientists, doctors and related professionals who are, or have been, involved with research related to the biological and health effects of electromagnetic frequencies up to and including 300 GHz.

My family and I need our copper landlines in New York State, and Verizon is threatening to cut us off from our lifeline: our copper landlines. My elderly loved ones need their copper landlines because it is their only contact with the outside world since they are not able to use other technology. I suffer from electromagnetic sensitivity, so I have a landline to reduce my exposure to wireless radiation. We all need the copper landlines for safety during power outages. Preserve the copper landlines and place people's needs above Verizon's profits.

Current US limits for wireless RF-EMF do not protect the public or wildlife from harm. The government’s ignorance of such a large body of scientific evidence for the biological effects of RF-EMF exposure takes us back to the Dark Ages or rather Stone Ages. The entire industry line is based on lack of biological effect, and that's echoed by ICNIRP and regulators including FCC because money talks. Let's face it folks, if this scandal was not about money, regulators would do their jobs and require safety testing, and respect public health risk prevention principles, instead of this ultra reckless attitude of exposing millions of innocent adults and children to a technology that's not only untested for safety, but also creating wireless radiation exposures at levels that extensive scientific studies clearly link to adverse health effects. Harm has been repeatedly documented at RF-EMF levels well below U.S. thermal standards which are based on the outdated and proven wrong assumption that heat is the only harm.

I hope DHHS has the integrity to take this matter seriously and instead of actively and deliberately ignoring credible science as the FCC and FDA has done for years when it comes to RF-EMF exposure, to start acting responsibly and demand safety measures as you do with drugs and medical devices, and very importantly, public education on responsible use of technology.

Hi. I suffer from Electro Hypersensitivity, which has limited my life drastically, caused the end of my marriage, and caused me 3-4 decades of illnesses no one had any diagnosis for. I now know what it is caused by. After seeing ear specialists, due to the unrelenting tinnitus, and neurologist for the malignant insomnia and migraines, and no one could find anything wrong with me. I had to begin to look out of the box for other explanations. I found this is more common than ai had any idea, and millions like me are suffering from this sensitivity and are simply canaries in the coal mine, showing how harmful this out of control ubiquitous RFR is. I live in a shielded home and use only wired communications. It took me over 10 yrs to learn how to remediate my environment to get as well as I seem to be able to get. I have lost my freedom to travel or even go to visit a friend at their home. I fear needing to go into a hospital with WIFI, as it makes me instantly very sick. I feel there needs to be a total new perspective on the well know adverse health effects of Manmade Radiofrequency Radiation, and a complete revamping of our safty standards. Our old standards set in 1096 are BEYOND outdate and totally wrong. The declassified Naval Military Research documents easily available on the internet, from the 50's and again in the 1970's clearly show evidence of damage to every system of our bodies from this radiofrequency radiation or RFR. Also the study done a few years ago by the National Toxicology Institute shows clear evidence of RFR causing cancer in rats. There are thousands of studies showing this is harmful, and most other first world countries have much more rigid standards. The toxic nature of these emissions and devices needs to be told to the population so they can make informed decision about wiring their homes and using wired communications, if we want to see cancer and a host of thousands of other illness on the rise start to decline. We also need to make safe hospital and doctors offices ASAP so those of us who already are suffering this dis -ease, have a safe place to go for health care.
