I support HHS and their efforts to conduct a study on the dangers of EMF radiation to the public. This investigation and/or study is many years past due. Citizens already have been severely harmed by EMF radiation which has been completely ignored. More strict steps and regulations need to be placed in our country to prevent dangerous harm to our children and adults. Thank you taking the time to read this comment!

I've noticed that whenever I'm near a Wi-Fi router, I experience heart palpitations, body aches, a buzzing sensation in my head, and brain fog. Interestingly, when I turn off the Wi-Fi, these symptoms seem to disappear. I've observed this pattern repeatedly, and I'm concerned about what might be causing it. I would appreciate more research and attention being given to experiences like mine.

I am not a robot:) I have observed the increased illness and irritation of family members exposed in their households due to EMF's, wirelss and rf radiation. The behaviors of these young children in these environments (and now their schools) is significantly irritable and "wired" in ways that they cannot get a restful sleep and their attention appears to be diluted. In contrast, outside and away from cell towers, wearables, etc. they return to being more curious, playful and easy going/hospitable. It is a worry that they are intentionally wired from the pleathora of exposures. Please make this a high priority. I fear it has long lasting impacts to health and our society overall. Not to mention the pets, plants and animals. Yes, I have observed different pets have different reactions to exposures... as well.

EMFs (5G, Wifi, etc.) are making us feel physically sick. Even if an individual tries to limit their exposure, surrounding homes/apartments are using Wifi, and internet providers are constantly increasing the range of Wifi signals. My home is exposed to 14 different Wifi signals at any given time, even though I'm not using it.

5G cell towers are everywhere and dangerously close to homes, schools, and hospitals. The young and medically vulnerable are being blasted by a continuous stream of harmful EMF in huge doses.

Other countries don't allow such high levels of EMF output, but Americans suffer being constantly exposed to this harm.

This is wrong and needs to stop. There are safer ways to provide communication, even wireless communication. This is making people sick.

Our children are increasingly surrounded by electromagnetic fields (EMFs), radiofrequency (RF) radiation, and wireless radiation from cell phones, Wi-Fi networks, tablets, and other connected devices, often with no consideration for the potential long-term consequences of continuous exposure. The full health implications of chronic exposure—particularly for developing children—remains largely unknown and requires ongoing in-depth scientific investigation. The stakes are obviously too high to assume that everyday exposure is entirely without risk, and with the widespread and rapidly increasing presence of these exposures, legitimate and critical questions are raised that deserve urgent research and public attention. Children’s developing brains and bodies clearly warrant special consideration, and as such we cannot afford to dismiss unanswered questions. We have a responsibility to investigate potential dangers, demand transparent scientific research, and take warranted precautionary measures to reduce unnecessary exposure and protect the health and future well-being of our most important population: our children.

I strongly oppose the placement of wireless communication towers or other wireless devices near residential communities, schools, churches, daycares, parks, and other places where children and families spend their time.

Based on my own observations using an EMF detector, I have concerns about the levels of electromagnetic radiation emitted by these towers. I believe these emissions may pose potential health risks, especially to children whose bodies and brains are still developing. While I am not including scientific studies in this letter, there are many researchers and organizations that have raised concerns about the long-term effects of electromagnetic radiation exposure on human health.

I do not believe that faster wireless internet speeds or any other reasons justify placing these towers close to areas where people live, learn, worship, and gather. Our society is already becoming increasingly dependent on internet-connected devices, and I am concerned that the continued expansion of wireless infrastructure encourages even greater screen use and digital dependency.

Children especially need safe environments that support learning, social interaction, physical activity, and healthy development. For these reasons, I believe communication towers should be located well away from schools, churches, daycares, neighborhoods, and other places frequented by families and children.

I respectfully ask that decision-makers prioritize public health and community well-being when considering the placement of these towers.

I have been moderately sensitive to EMFs and RF for many years. I first became conscious of this on moving out of my parents' house which was situated near a 275KV electric pylon. I moved six miles away but on returning at the weekends etc., I noticed an unhealthy influence in their house.

Later, in the 2000s, I noticed feeling ill when using computers. Later, while working as a healthcare assistant in hospitals and nursing homes, I started to notice feeling unwell when near to WiFi modem/routers and DECT telephones.

I am involved in public understanding of science work, including presenting talks and workshops about radio technology and associated health effects. The problem of sensitivity to these influences is much greater than most people recognise. However, when one starts to directly ask people if they are affected, many do recount their own stories of health problems.

In my educational work in the U.K. and Ireland, I notice a distinct unwillingness for educational and health authorities to attempt to educate the public about reducing exposure to radio frequency radiation. The attitude appears to be that any such education would indicate an admission from those authorities that there are real health problems involved. The situation as it stands is that the levels of radiation keep on rising, with none of the authorities taking any responsibility to moderate behaviours.

With kind regards

Dear Secretary Kennedy and the OASH Policy Team,

My name is Addison Hansen, I am 16 years old, and I live in Frost, Minnesota. Please accept the attached letter as my official youth submission regarding the Department of Health and Human Services’ Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (Docket ID: HHS-OASH-2026-0397).

I am writing to you because my generation's future health is directly on the line. While your office is doing the right thing by opening this inquiry to investigate the dangers of EMF radiation, regional utilities are trying to build the massive PowerOn Midwest 765 kV transmission line project right through our communities.

It makes no sense to rush and build the biggest high-voltage powerline project in our region's history at the exact same time the federal government is admitting we need to pause and study whether these EMF levels are actually safe for us. My peers and I will have to live next to this infrastructure for decades to come.

In my attached letter, I am calling on you, Secretary Kennedy, to stand up for young people and ask grid operators to halt the PowerOn Midwest project until your department finishes this RFI and updates federal safety standards.

Thank you for listening to youth voices on this critical health issue. I have also mailed the letter to your office by express mail, but it will not be able to reach your office in time for the deadline.

Sincerely,

Addison Hansen

The 5G towers that sprung up while we were all locked down in 2020 are the main problem. Only only are the ugly as sin, the numbers that correlate the proximity to a tower and major chronic conditions looms large. These studies are very accessible and from all around the word. These towers also play a roll in weather manipulation, which is another major problem. Now you can 5G into your home! These micro waves from towers and routers are destroying us from the inside out. The science is clear.

"Increasing Numbers of Children Aged 5-19 Years with Memory Problems in Sweden and Norway"

"Discussion

The data presented here show very disturbing trend of a rapidly increasing number of children and teenagers consulting medical care for memory problems or diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment, in particular over the last ve to 14 years in Norway and Sweden. The increase cannot be explained by changed diagnostic criteria or reporting frequency. What changes in children’s environment and life style might have contributed to this worrying trend of impaired memory and cognitive functions? There are multiple reports, both from animal experimental studies and epidemiological studies on humans, showing that microwave RF radiation exposure negatively impacts memory and cognitive functions. The hippocampus in the brain is important for short and long term memory, learning, and spatial navigation [41,42]. Several animal studies have also reported damage to the hippocampus from exposure to

microwave RF radiation. Children’s exposure to microwave RF radiation from wireless technologies such as smart phones, base stations/antennas, Wi-Fi-routers, smart meters, and other wireless technologies that emit microwave RF radiation has also increased rapidly during the same time period as the increasing number of children with decline in memory and cognitive functions"

Subject: Public complaint about electrosmog in Italy and personal testimony on electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) I am writing to denounce the abandonment of Italian citizens in the face of exposure to electromagnetic fields and the lack of protection for people suffering from symptoms attributed to electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS). In April 2024, national exposure limits were raised from 6 to 15 V/m. There are also no uniform minimum safety distances from homes, schools, and sensitive sites. I call for greater public attention, transparency, and precautionary measures to protect health. My story began in July 2024, one month after a mobile phone antenna was installed directly in front of my home. Other installations are located about 250 metres from my home and 200 metres from my workplace, where I have worked for 18 years. I began experiencing severe pain in my left epididymis and big toes. For months, my nails stopped growing. Medical examinations and treatments did not resolve the problems. Antibiotic and anti-inflammatory treatments only made my symptoms worse. I also noticed a strong stinging sensation in my face whenever I approached my mobile phone. That was when I understood the link between my symptoms and the new antenna. When I tried to explain my suspicions and the scientific evidence I had found to doctors, my concerns were met with scepticism and ridicule. In desperation, I contacted the Italian Electrosensitive Association, which gave me guidance on investigating the situation. My home was already partly protected: during renovations in 2012, I removed all wireless devices and fully wired my internet network and alarm system. To see whether leaving my usual environment might help, I spent several days in an isolated country house in the hills, keeping my mobile phone switched off. My symptoms eased and disappeared; within two days of returning home, they came back. This experience strengthened my conviction that the possible environmental causes of my symptoms needed to be investigated more seriously. By late 2024, convinced that the new antenna in front of my home was responsible for the onset of my electromagnetic hypersensitivity,…

I have always worked in an office using PC's and then Laptops. I think my intolerance/symptoms to RF/EMF began when a Mobile phone signal booster was installed a few feet above my desk in an open plan office, but I didn't realise until a few years later. Around the same time, we had high power Fibre Optic Wi-Fi installed at home (we previously had no Wi-Fi at home). We also had boosters around the house using the electric wiring. Within weeks of the Wi-Fi installation I noticed I had Tinnitus (when at home only). I also noticed all my family seemed vaguely unwell, nothing serious just like a low-level virus that never cleared up, I didn't relate this to the Wi-Fi until my mother had the same system installed at her house a year or so later. She started getting horrible headaches and felt constantly under the weather. We both started to feel a burning/ringing on the left side of our head (around the ear). I began to notice if I worked in an office with 20/30 people in it and various Wi-Fi routers my head started to tingle (like little electric shocks across it) and these carried on after I went home, then would go away overnight. During this time, I started to suffer with bouts of uncontrollable anxiety (I had never had anxiety before) and feelings of impending doom. I had 3 miscarriages and irregular painful periods. I developed IBS, now if I turn my mobile phone on to Data or my laptop on in the morning, I suddenly need to go to the toilet, this doesn't happen on days I don't use my phone/laptop. I can still use my laptop for work but use plastic fibre optic connectors, I cannot just use ethernet cables. I still get tingly fingers where I hold the mouse and if I work for too long or watch videos, I start to feel nausea (like motion sickness). We no longer have Wi-Fi at home and have been able to convince my employers that I need to work from home. If I spend too long in the shops or in a pub, I start to feel very uneasy, with a tight chest and palpitations, my skin starts to go very red and feels like it's on fire. When home I unable to sleep for hours no matter how tired I am and my legs won't stop jumping. Sometimes I then vomit the next morning. It’s a…

"Relationship between Physical Activity, Screen Time, and Sleep Quantity and Quality in US Adolescents Aged 16–19"

"Abstract

Despite the health benefits associated with physical activity (PA), screen time reduction, and sleep quantity and quality, the relationships between PA, screen time, and sleep quantity and quality remain unclear in adolescents. The present study is a cross-sectional analysis of data from adolescents aged 16–19 years who participated in the 2005–2006 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (n = 542). Multivariable logistic regression models, adjusted for confounders, examined the relationship between objectively measured PA, self-reported screen time, and sleep quantity and quality. Respondents who met the current PA recommendation had 50% lower odds of having sufficient sleep (≥8 h) than those not meeting the recommendation (OR = 0.50, 95% CI: 0.26, 0.94). Respondents who met the screen time recommendation (≤2 h/day) had 55% lower odds of reporting poor sleep quality than those whose screen time exceeded the recommendation (OR = 0.45, 95% CI: 0.22, 0.91), with similar patterns observed for females and males. However, males who met both PA and screen time recommendations had 73% lower odds of reporting poor sleep quality than males who met neither recommendation (OR = 0.27, 95% CI: 0.07, 0.99). In conclusion, PA and screen time are associated with sleep quantity or sleep quality in adolescents, and there are differences in these associations by sex."

I unwittingly had a SMART electricity meter fitted in an understairs cupboard in the centre of my home (I think it was 2017). I slept with my head six inches from it, only a plasterboard stud wall and my headboard in between. I suffered early morning headaches, nausea, tinnitus and disrupted sleep.

In 2020, when we were locked down, I spent more time at home and my symptoms worsened drastically, I began feeling dizzy and sustained injuries from falling after losing my balance on several occassions. My skin itched constantly and I started to feel confused, brain fogged and disproportionately angry when exposed to mobile phones. In the last few months, using a mobile phone causes my heart to pound and my blood pressure to increase sharply, it's fine when I don't have any exposure.

I'm not alone! My son, age 51, has also begun to feel symptoms, when exposed, he experiences chronic fatigue, bouts of unexplained anger and frustration, and becomes confused.

I suffer from hypothyroidism, as do both of my next door neighbours on either side, who live with SMART meters in their homes.

I have a good friend who has a cell tower adjacent to his house, he suffers more symptoms and I find the energy in his home so toxic that I cannot go in his house.

I am SO VERY GRATEFUL to Secretary Kennedy for raising awareness on this issue, which I believe is causing suffering worldwide. Thank you!

There are indications that humans possess a magnetic sense. Since this is a fact that has not yet shifted the scientific paradigm, we must rely on current knowledge. Is it ethical to turn a deaf ear? Canaries were used to ensure the safety of mines. We have “canaries” who can speak and write, but our current worldview prevents us from listening to them. It’s ethical to consider this line of thinking. What if people had a magnetic sense? What would change then? What should be studied in that case? What should be taken into account? What should be done differently? What should be done when it is a known fact that all senses function in such a way that there are people in the population whose particular sense is more sensitive than the average? We are familiar with hyper-tasters, people with hypersensitivity to sound, people with sensitivity to light, etc. Is it ethically right, then, to design living environments in such a way that a sensitive person cannot find refuge from the very factor that causes their sensitivity and symptoms? Magnetic sensitivity could affect neurological symptoms, such as dizziness, headaches, or sleep disturbances, especially in technology-rich environments. Doctors might begin to assess magnetic sensitivity as part of a neurological examination, particularly in patients with unexplained symptoms. A new medical specialty might emerge—such as “magneto-neurology”—that focuses on the effects of magnetic fields on the human nervous system. Current safety limits (e.g., SAR values for MRI machines) are based on tissue heating and electromagnetic effects. If magnetic sensitivity were recognized, restrictions might also be imposed based on neurological effects. Henshaw, D. L., & Philips, A. (2024). https://bioinitiative.org/wp-content/uploads/pdfs/sec19_2012_Fetal_neonatal_effects_EMF.pdf Pregnant women with laptops close to their belly receive more EMF for the child than safety limits allow. But less so if the laptop is on a table. "Induced electric currents were estimated for both the pregnant woman and the fetus. Statistical values of the averaged current density were evaluated for body tissues including the body of the fetus, and the grey and white matter of the brain of the mother; the mother’s cerebellum, the mother’s cerebrospinal fluid and mother’s muscle tissue. In each case, the larger exposure was generated by the power supply rather than the laptop operation. Levels of induced current substantially exceeded ICNIRP public safety limits, assuming close proximity of the laptop to the belly of the pregnant woman (for the fetus, between 182% and 263.7% of the ICNIRP standard); and for the woman (between 346.7% and 483.5% of the ICNIRP standard). I am very sensitive when exposed to all wierless tecnical gadgets, mobilephones, WiFi, Routers and similar things. I can only use wired technology for my dayly use of technology. These problems I have had for twelve years now and I have had to rearrange everything in our house without wireless technology. ee

Visiting official areas like healthcare institutions is troublesome and takes several days to get back to a stable situation again. The symptoms are lack of centration, trembling, distant, mild headace and less sleep per night. The problems are constant, without meauserable variasions. These problems constrains my social life and are annoying. My contact with the Swedish Healthcare has not been able to give me the help I need to change my situation.
