I want to share our community’s deeply concerning experience with a proposed cell tower installation located just five feet from a school facility where young children regularly play.

Despite significant concerns raised by parents, residents, and the surrounding community, the telecommunications company continued pushing forward with the installation. The owners of the building listened to our concerns and recognized the importance of protecting the children and families who use this space. Unfortunately, the telecommunications company was unwilling to meaningfully address those concerns and even fought against the building owners in its efforts to move forward.

As a parent, I find it incredibly troubling that telecommunications infrastructure can be placed so close to areas where children spend their days without greater consideration of potential long-term health effects, environmental impacts, or the concerns of the families directly affected.

Our experience highlighted a serious imbalance between the interests of telecommunications companies and the ability of local communities and property owners to have a meaningful voice in decisions that affect them.

I urge HHS to reevaluate existing wireless radiation exposure standards using current, independent scientific research, with particular attention to children’s long-term and cumulative exposure. I also encourage greater transparency, stronger oversight, and meaningful consideration of community concerns when wireless infrastructure is proposed near schools and other places where children gather.

Families should not have to fight this hard simply to have legitimate health and safety concerns heard. Our children deserve thoughtful protections, and our communities deserve a meaningful voice in decisions that may affect their health and well-being for years to come.

I’ll be brief. It is long past due that any and all studies are publicly published while updated and accurate new studies be performed. Transparency, honesty, & accuracy are key. Phones, routers, ‘smart’ meters, 5g+ tech & more-all need to be properly studied & publicly shared. Our health depends on it.

HI there! I saw Bobbie on the news requesting information from the public and I thought you’ll ought to know my experience. So I’m in par with what a lot of things he’s been coming out with like vaccines, food, and now this. To begin with, I was born a healthy baby until I received my first vaccine. I had 104F fever that night. Luckily I’ve never been diagnosed autistic but after that, I became a pretty sick kid. I often got sick growing up and still suffer from lots of allergies, anxiety, and depression. I know this isn’t about that but I think it’s important that you know my background since I believe it’s precisely why I’m so sensitive to EMF, RF, and Wireless Radiation. I’m just glad to not feel like I’m crazy for admitting it. People thought I was literally crazy, even though I think I am at least a little. But I know what I’m talking about when I say that I was losing my mind over a neighbor’s ultrasonic pigeon deterrent, it literally almost drove me to insanity! Anyway, EMF radiation is much friendlier than that but it’s still exhausting with its dullness. Unless of course you’re sick and/or have a head congestion, then it’s almost unbearable the closer you get to it. In my case it was an outlet on a night with a pretty bad congestion, right where I rested my head. It was so unbearable that I had to turn off the breaker. Once I did so I realized how much it was affecting me, I was able to sleep much better and felt as if my body wasn’t in fight or flight mode anymore. That’s what it kind of feels like. As if your nervous system is activated in full mode. It’s exhausting, sometimes unbearable, and feels like you need to get away or make it stop somehow. I literally took a neighbor to court over his ultrasonic pigeon deterrent to have it removed from his balcony and just kept that breaker off in my bedroom. But I also haven’t updated my phone because I hate 5G, I don’t even want to know about 6G. I own a Galaxy S23 and happily keep it on 4G. Only when it’s absolutely necessary will I change it to 5G. I am someone who has become sensitive to EMFs due to medical conditions. I have Meniere’s disease, suspected third window syndrome, and vestibular migraines.

I experience negative reactions to Wi-Fi and cell phones. When I am in an area with Wi-Fi, I feel unsteady and it almost feels like being drunk without the high. It takes a lot of concentration just to walk a straight line. It impacts my ability to think clearly and drive safely. I have also experienced migraines triggered by cell phone EMFs.

I have found it necessary to purchase an EMF meter and avoid EMFs as much as possible My home is now free of EMFs, no Wi-Fi and cell phones are kept off. We live in the country and intentionally bought property with no close neighbors. When I leave my home, I wear a head covering made from EMF shielding fabric. If I must use a cell phone, (which is rare) I make sure my head is covered and protected from EMFs. The EMF shielding fabric only provides so much protection. I still get tinnitus and I find it very fatiguing to leave my home. I will often need to rest a day or two after a trip to town.

EMFs are a stress on the body, and I believe due to my vestibular disorders I am affected by the signals more than most people. That said, I do worry about how EMFs may be impacting other people without them even knowing it. People that live in the city are continuously exposed to EMFs. You have to get away from it to realize if it’s a trigger.

I am Isabelle Reine, French woman of 64 years old, and I live in a small town where 7 relay antennas were built during the lockdown covid19, en 2020, and the most nearly from my résidence is far from 150 meters. Since, I feel sick and very tired and I've got very more healt problems than before like insomnia, headaches, différentes pains and troubles (abdominal, lung ENT... ) I feel inconfortable and the nuisances physicals with waves, also earing, like noise pollution. Sometimes, also, irritated, lost of motivation, dépression, burning sensation inside. I've refused vaccination and connects meters for électricity and gas. For water, the équipment was installed, outside, without notifying me. I've got a phone 4G, a box, a PC, a TV at home.

When I live some days, in a other place, far from antennas, I feel better and the noise polution stop. I see a real différence and I like to live in a better place but I can't pay for this.

I hope all these nuisances will be stopped, every where, définitely and these ugly antennas will be to disappear from the landscape. idem for all others polution like chemtrails... Hoping better for the future and humanity all over the word.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure.

I am responding from the perspective of a patient. I have EMR Syndrome for 5 years now, it is very hard. I have headache, tinnitus, chronic fatigue, brain fog, etc when somebody uses a wireless device or when I'm near from a cell tower. I have to wear special clothes to shield, but it is not enough.

I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.

I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.

Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

Rf-tinnitus induced at far below public exposure limits Smart meters are here provided as an example (among many possible) of unprotective rf exposure limits in Canada, US limits not dissimilar. A complaint to Toronto Hydro re tinnitus induced by their then fairly recently installed meters, led inter alia to dosimetry checks. We became aware of the inadequacy of Canadian (and thus U.S.) purported safety limits years earlier. Here was a manifest example backed up by professional dosimetry. Note the exact times mentioned in the email. The utility hired a third party to conduct pro dosimetry on their meters. Their report was not made public. Alongside this 3rd party professional, a Canadian dosimetry professional of long experience performed dosimetry followed by public documentation of his findings. I live in Sweden and I write as an individual from my own experience. About 15 years ago or so, I started having heart problems, skin problems and strong headaches. I was unaware of the base station on the roof opposite, 20 meters from and in level with my home. At that time there was little or no knowledge about what a base station was or looked like. During six years or longer, I began to experience symptoms of sunburn pain in palms, soles of feet and mouth; heart palpitations and irregular heart beats; headaches and head pressure, nerve pain and face rashes, trouble swallowing, blurred vision and then nose bleeds. Unaware of why at the time, symptom decreased when I went away was in large buildings with metal roofs, like offices or malls, with no base stations and at times when there was few visitors. I was diagnosed with heart arythmia and tried antihistamin medication for skin problems but it made no difference. But after moving and having longer distance to base station I began to feel better. Skin rashes and swallowing problems disappeared, arythmia decreased from daily / nightly to a few unregular beats weekly; headaches decreased from every week to about once every second month; nose bleeds decreased from a few every month to once or twice a year. Since then I use cable wired devices with wireless turned off. I think on of the most important things is to get information about using cable wired devices and the "pros and cons". I am glad I got aware of the situation. But of course, I am sometimes worried about the more serious health effects it might have for me living so close to a base station. Some additional information: Bioinitiative.org scientists reviewed around 1 800 studies and summarized that "Chronic base station level exposures can result in illness." Hi, need to slow down, reverse too many EMF transmission towers, smart devices, wifi. Personal health, when around multiple towers, I develop terrible brain fog. Government needs to study EMF for cognitive decline. Thank you.

In the beginning of 2021 I began waking up with nusea, slight headache and 'brain fog', felt like i had a 'hangover', except i diddent drink anything.

For years before 2021 i had made it a habbit to always turn my wi-fi of at night, cause i would fall asleep much faster without the Wi-Fi on, and wake up feeling a lot better.

By 2021, just turning of my Wi-Fi seemed to not be enough anymore, do i shielded my house from a nearby celltower, and quit all wireless stuff in my house.. bluetooth speakers, wireless thermostats etc. I also started using ethernet cables when at home, and installed dirty electricity filters in my house.

It helped! I dont wake up with nusea anymore, my migraines are a lot less frequent, and my mood is better in general.

Also.. my cat doesnt have flee allergy anymore, and have managed without medications since 2021.

Adverse effects related RF-EMF seems to me to be obvious.

Proving it should absolutely be possible.

The change in electric fields, produces magnetic fields and the changes in magnetic fields, generates electric fields. The correlation between each other and the fluctuations between each other, is called “electromagnetic waves” or EMFs. FCC’s old 90s exposure limits take into account the frequency of the carrier waves, but ignore the signaling properties such as pulsing and polarization, along with the duration of exposure, which increases the impacts of the exposure. Verizon never mentions this, FCC doesn’t care to mention it. When directives are out there claiming that safety precautions should be taken against any electrical appliance , in schools, residential areas and other places where people stay for a long time, in order to prevent babies, senior citizens, patients in hospitals, children in schools and playgrounds, and especially overnight during reconstructive sleep ,these precautions are directed at the strongest electromagnetic fields detected. However, knowing what different people , children, unborn, etc, can actually handle without illness or symptoms or deteriorations of the very special human nervous system, is anyone’s guess . There are no parameters for such a cross section of humans and certainly none for animals. Why would you knowingly add on experimental effects of micro wave radiation, to an area, especially such a small area, and just throw chance to the wind? The old fashioned standards the FCC goes on and on about as being the parameters, which were established in 1995 to 1996 and are being questioned currently, but not soon enough for us. FCC allows no environmental or health impact studies to have any effect on deployment of 5G modes. They are afraid the studies would have negative results and would take too long and time is of the essence for them, to make back invested money and compete with the rest of the world. I dont sleep with the EMF for 4 apartments on the outside of my bedroom wall until i put Orgone pyramid there inside. I wear orgone pendant to harmonize emf to my body. I want all schools and hospitals to use Grounded , hard wiring ways for All computers and for kids ages 5- 18 to be off computers in school!!! Children's schools should not be located near mobile phone towers or TV towers or electrical transmission power lines. And the powerful Wi-Fi routers often used in schools should not be near any children's desks. California officially issued guidelines advising of mobile phone dangers, warning of increased risk of brain cancer and other health problems, and that children’s developing brains could be at greater risk. The biggest source of RF exposure for most people is using a mobile phone next to the head. You can reduce RF exposure a lot by using the phone's speaker and holding the phone farther away from your head, or using wired headphones say neuro-oncologists & public heath experts. The city council in Berkeley California passed a law that requires retailers to tell consumers how far away their phone should be held. The European Union recommends wired Internet rather than wireless in schools. France also banned WiFi routers in nursery and daycare centers, and restricted elementary school WiFi to only when in use for education. The American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) states in an open letter to school superintendents, “There is a consistent, emerging science that shows people, especially children who are more vulnerable due to developing brains and thinner skulls, are being affected by the increasing exposure to wireless radiation.” In 2021 a New Hampshire report outlined health risks of cell phone towers in residential neighborhoods. Since its founding in 2007, Environmental Health Trust and numerous experts and expert groups have repeatedly advised governments, through docket filings and briefings of Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other officials, that science-based policy updates are urgently needed to reduce microwave-radiation exposure, especially for young children and the environment. According to Common Sense Media, forty percent of U.S. two-year-olds own some form of two-way microwave-radiating tablet. Outdated 20th century approaches such as those relied on by ICNIRP cannot provide valid means for evaluating fast-moving 21st century technologies. At the same time, the recent issuance of separate requests for information by both HHS and the FCC highlights the lack of a coherent federal policy framework. It also reflects the ongoing tension between the Department of Commerce's technology leadership, which is tasked with accelerating wireless deployment, and HHS and FDA officials, who are responsible for evaluating the evidence, supporting research on potential health risks, and advising the FCC on appropriate regulatory policies. Microwave-radiating devices can provide social, safety, and economic benefits, but their risks have not been adequately considered in standards governing manufacture, testing, use, surveillance, and disposal. Consequently, billions experience repeated, avoidable RF radiation through lifetime use of simultaneously operating phones, tablets, personal monitors, and other two-way microwave-radiating devices, increasing risks of chronic illnesses documented over five decades, much of the research conducted outside the U.S. We therefore welcome the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and FCC Request for Information (RFI) on health and environmental impacts. Public Comment on EMF, RF Radiation, and Wireless Technology Docket No. HHS-OASH-2026-0397 I am concerned about the rapid expansion of wireless technology and its potential effects on our health, homes, and natural environment. Cell towers, Wi-Fi, smart meters, and wireless devices have become widespread, yet I believe the public needs more independent research, transparency, and meaningful input into decisions affecting our communities. I have personally experienced headaches, nausea, feeling unwell, neck and chest tightness, and ringing in my ears in situations where I believe electromagnetic fields or wireless technology may be relevant. I have noticed discomfort near high-voltage power lines and when using my computer over Wi-Fi. At home, I have noticed a significant difference when using Ethernet with Wi-Fi turned off. I have also noticed significant differences when my phone's Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and hotspot are enabled versus disabled or when it is in airplane mode. My hand can feel hot and tingly when I hold my phone for an extended period. I recognize these observations do not prove that electromagnetic exposure causes my symptoms. Other factors may contribute. However, I believe these experiences deserve consideration and that independent research should investigate the questions they raise. Electromagnetic fields and radio frequency emissions can be measured. I would like greater public access to reliable exposure measurements and clear explanations of safety standards, the evidence behind them, and remaining uncertainties. Research should distinguish between low-frequency fields associated with electrical infrastructure and radio frequency emissions from wireless communications. I am also concerned about how quickly wireless infrastructure has expanded. Cell towers and antennas are appearing on schools, atop small apartment buildings, and on large towers next to homes. These structures change our neighborhoods and natural landscapes. Smart meters and other wireless technologies have also become increasingly common. In the spring of 2006 out of nowhere and what seemed like no reason I started having severe vertigo, migraines, slurred speech, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, my whole body felt as though my skin was on fire. I had a 2 yr old son and one morning I went to get out of bed, however when I lifted my head my world shifted onto its side. I felt as though I had been drinking liquor the night before (which I hadn’t been). My head slammed back down I couldn’t even open my eyes to squint without severe vertigo. My husband rushed me to the emergency room which was not easy since I couldn’t open my eyes, my speech was slurred and wearing clothes felt like torture. Once at the hospital they did several tests and ran several scans. The scans all came back normal, however the hand/eye tests they gave me verified that there was definitely a problem. The doctor told me that I had a case of severe vertigo and they didn’t know why so the doc gave me a shot of liquid Valium and almost immediately I was back to normal. He sent me home with a small prescription of Valium and told me to make an appt with my GP. From that day forward my life was a living nightmare. I was unable to take care of myself much less my 2 yr old son with whom I had done the responsible thing with and had waited til I had been married for 7 yrs was 26 yrs old and was financially stable. Sadly the one thing I had longed for, had planned out meticulously in order to be able to raise my son, give him some siblings and my husband more kids was stolen from me. The next 13 yrs would be one disappointment after another where the medical field is concerned. I slept for days on end if severe weather moved in I would sleep starting the day before it moved in until the day after it cleared up. I lived in excruciating pain going from one specialist to the next begging them to help me then after examination and untold numbers of test they would first offer me OxyContin then it would spiral into me and the specialist screaming at each other. Me yelling at them I didn’t want their drugs and them yelling at me it was all in my head. I finally just started screaming “if it’s all in My head then fix my fucking head!” Oh…

I support HHS and their efforts to conduct a study on the dangers of EMF radiation to the public. This investigation and/or study is many years past due. Citizens already have been severely harmed by EMF radiation which has been completely ignored. More strict steps and regulations need to be placed in our country to prevent dangerous harm to our children and adults. Thank you taking the time to read this comment!
