I have been studying the effects of harmful EMFs for the past few years and as a result I have taken precautions to turn my cellphone on airplane mode when not in use, to disable smart connections in my appliances, and to switch my digital meter to an analog one. My sleep score has increased and my vitamin d levels have improved. I have a more regualqted nervous system and my immunity has gone up. I have noticed though that when using my cell phone for a prolonged period of time 15 mins or more I feel a tingling sensation in my hand that radiates up to my arm. This is not carpal tunnel. It’s the effect of electromagnetic radiation. It’s much less noticeable when my phone is set to LTE versus 5g but it’s still there. The fact of the matter is that our bodies are electromagnetic beings and EMFs disrupt our natural biology. In a classroom with a wifi router, my students and I were tired. I felt ill. Then, our district's internet system was hacked and we were without the internet for three months. My worst behaved and emotional special ed students calmed down. They became focused. Students no longer complained about physical discomfort. When the internet was restored the chaos and emotional issues returned.

Now, we just returned from living in Netherlands. We were amazed to see the number of 5G, 6G towers/boxes. No wildlife, the plants were weak and sparse. The Military has been astutely aware of the effects of electromagnetic fields of myriad frequencies and intensities on humans for 50 or more years. Attached is a composite of the many studies that have been done over the years. We don't need more studies. We need implementation of the efforts that have been blocked by the Military and 3 letter agencies for too many years, leaving our entire human population subject to the degenerative and mind control effects of such fields. My name is Samantha Perez. Let me summarize my experience and how I have become Electrical Hyper Sensibility: I had been experiencing a certain sensitivity to mobile phones for years (mainly loud ringing in my ears and tingling in my hands when holding the phone, but nothing worrying), but in January 2023 I started feeling sick (with up to 14 different physical symptoms (cumulative over the weeks). The triggering cause: working for seven months underneath the photovoltaic panels we installed at home in June 2022 (my office is directly underneath them). In March 2023, I contacted the Spanish association for people with Electro hypersensitivity and I went to see a doctor in Barcelona (one of the few specialists in Spain), who diagnosed me with Central Sensitivity for EHS due to overexposure to EMFs (I also had a mobile tower close to my home impacting my bedroom directly).

From April 2023 onwards, I took drastic measures regarding everything related to Wi-Fi/internet/electrical systems (switched off the photovoltaic panels, shielded walls, and carefully controlled my environment in terms of exposure to electromagnetic waves and electric and magnetic fields) and full body detoxification and strengthen my immune system. It took me over a year for the symptoms to gradually disappear. The symptoms are entirely functional: when I am exposed to EMFs, they appear; when I am not exposed for a prolonged period, they disappear.

At present, I experience symptoms when exposed: fatigue, bloating, the metallic clicking sensation, discomfort in the lymph nodes, swelling behind the knee, loud ringing in my ears. But my life has become more limited, as I have to avoid certain places and specially phone towers. I became for life “allergic to EMF”. I am asking the Department of Health and Human Services to seriously consider stronger regulations and precautionary protections regarding electromagnetic fields (EMFs), particularly in and around schools.

I work in a school every day, and I have personally experienced symptoms that I associate with prolonged exposure to EMFs, including migraines and physical sensations that I describe as body/energetic pain. Schools are especially important because children and school employees can spend many hours a day in these environments. With the increasing presence of Wi-Fi networks, wireless devices, Bluetooth technology, cell towers, and other sources of radiofrequency exposure, I believe we should be asking whether current standards adequately protect people in places where they spend significant portions of their lives.

I am not asking that technology be eliminated. I am asking for a precautionary approach: stronger research, transparent monitoring, reasonable exposure standards, and consideration of lower-exposure options in schools whenever practical.

As an employee who spends the majority of my day in a school building, I want to feel confident that my workplace is as safe as reasonably possible. I hope the Department will consider the concerns of people like me and take meaningful steps toward understanding and addressing potential health impacts of long-term EMF exposure, particularly in schools.

After moving into a newer house in Bulverde, TX, my 9 year old was having headaches every morning and was sleeping horribly. After a month of research and digging, I discovered that the house had a smart meter from CPS Energy. This meter was located less than a foot from my child’s bedroom window. I contacted CPS to confirm it was a smart meter. I asked to have it removed, due to learning the detriments of it on health and sleep patterns. The representative told me it would cost $250 to go back to analog and we would be charged an additional $40 per month to have the meter read. I told the representative to have the work done. Within one week of changing the meter, my child was sleeping soundly and the headaches were gone.

In addition, I began unplugging our modem every night because I was having sleeping issues and the modem is located on the other side of the wall attached to my bedroom, I began sleeping better as well.

When 4g came to my world both the 2yo and 5yo lost complete control of their bladders and so did one of my dogs, flare up of chrones UC and ibs became common. Memory loss the inability to concentrate hell my husband started begging me to kill him the ringing in his ears was too loud. The little one had days he couldn't walk we stopped taking them to the doctors they have no answers or treatments. Then my daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer at 33. I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a parent, grandparent and concerned member of the public. In the city of Maple Grove, MN there are several 5G towers with toxic warning signs just several feet away from the schools playgrounds. Also, the electric smart meters were installed in the past two to three years with no notice to homeowners. In the past couple of years, I have personally experienced a lot of dizziness, ringing of the ears and nausea and believe it could be related to these smart meters. Just yesterday, September 23rd, my daughter came home to a notice which was a paper rolled up and placed on the handle of her front door, stating the city shut off her gas because they installed a gas meter on the outside of her house while she was gone at work. The city did not provide any previous notice to my daughter that the meter was being installed. My daughter has three children and had no hot water, heat, or gas for the stove. My daughter called the city right away who stated they needed to get inside her home to complete the work and would send someone out to her home at midnight. My daughter told the city that she has to work in the morning and her children have school so they sent someone out at 10:30 PM. Why is the city not notifying residents they are installing these meters and why are they doing it late at night? My daughter was very confused and concerned about how this was being handled by the city and felt she had no choice. In the past couple weeks, I also contacted the city due to they sent me a letter in the mail stating that my monthly bill would triple in addition to being I charged a $16.78 quarterly fee if I chose to opt out of the water smart meter installation. The city of Maple Grove stated they would have to average out my service bill - so why did they triple my charges when my usage did not change.
