The Global Indoor Health Network is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing education and awareness of the health effects of mold and other indoor contaminants, including the harmful effects of microwave radiation. The use of EMF and RF devices is growing exponentially. These devices transmit wirelessly using Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) and Radio Frequencies (RF). They are NOT safe and are harmful to adults and children. The toxic nature of electromagnetic fields dangers comprising electrical voltages, radiofrequencies and microwaves is a clearly established fact in the international medical literature, that has accumulated over the last 250 years. Federal regulations protect the public only from the thermal (i.e., heating) risk due to short-term exposure to high intensity, cell tower radiation. The Federal regulations ignore the thousands of studies that find harmful bio-effects from long-term exposure to non-thermal levels of radiation. A good starting point for learning about the scientific literature on this subject is the October 4, 1971, report from Naval Medical Research Institute (NMRI), titled "Bibliography of Reported Biological Phenomena (Effects) and Clinics Manifestations Attributed to Microwave and Radiofrequency Radiation" (and also see the 1976 follow-up report that added seven supplements). The report lists numerous health effects caused by radiofrequency (RF) radiation and includes references to more than 2,300 published research papers on the biological responses to radiofrequency and microwave radiation. This tells you there were already more than 2,300 published research papers on this topic prior to 1971. Thousands of additional papers have been published over the past five decades. Barrier Trower, a retired British Secret Service Microwave Weapons specialist, summed it up, saying "By 1971, we knew everything that needed to be known." I became severely electro sensitive close to 20 years now. It has been completely life altering!! My husband also became sensitive about 10 years ago. We had to close our business & move to a rural area THEN the cell tower came in the area & has been amped up with even more equipment. I was very much into all the latest electronic gadgets right from the beginning. Now I have issues in the house with low magnetic fields & electrical fields. How can one escape any of this without sacrificing actually living! The cost to try to protect ourselves and even our precious pets! They seek out spots in and around the home to feel comfortable in. It's so obvious plus I have purchased multiple meters to test the levels with. The regulations are basically non-existent, favoring the telecom industry. This is not advancement! yes it's all very convenient which is the 'hook' to gain more consumers for their fancy phones. The regulations are completely outdated and the medical field does not even address the affects that this has on the body & mind. We would like to see a complete unbiased, non industry analysis with more input & studies on how we can make this technology harmonize & heal instead of harm all living things!! In order for me to write this comment I can only use a hardwired computer system and we have shielded our home & have to wear special garments to protect the brain & body. I was poisoned by the misuse of organophosphate pesticides as a child and have had lifelong complications including many chemical and environmental sensitivities that eventually resulted in a stroke in 2022. At that time, I was put through two MRI brain scans without contrast, CT scans with contrast, EKGs, and doppler heart tests in a small span of time. After all the testing was completed, I developed severe electromagnetic sensitivities. I cannot be around cell phones, cell towers, wi-fi, or even hard-wired computers for any length of time. My life has become even more precarious and isolated than ever before. I cannot safely leave my home for any length of time due to the ubiquitousness of chemicals, cell phones, cell towers, smart meters, wi-fi, and various wireless security devices. I cannot work; I have not been able to get disability, as environmental sensitivities are not generally accepted in the medical or Social Security arena; I do not have a regular doctor because those that are chemical, wi-fi, wireless device free, and recognize environmental sensitivities are out of my price range and do not accept my Medicaid insurance which I stand to lose in a few months because I cannot fulfill any work requirements, and as I said above, I cannot obtain SSI or SSDI. My only support system was my parents who recently died, I am in serious debt and facing a potential lawsuit, have a few months of money left if the debt collectors do not seize it first, and am facing homelessness and a very uncertain future. I would not wish environmental or electromagnetic sensitivities on my worst enemy. Things stand to get worse for all of us as the proliferation of wireless continues unabated worldwide - even nature and camping sites are no longer safe as wi-fi and cell towers have been put in these areas as well. How does one live in this ever-increasing toxic world? I am not sure I will be able to for much longer.

I am grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 9. I see children getting anxious, not sleeping well and not as vibrant and active as they used to be. I also have been affected and no longer put my phone in my bedroom and am noticing that I sleep so much better. Sleep is when our bodies heal. I notice that my grandchildren have chronic illness complaints. Our children need to be protected. Please look at peer review studies which show EMF harms. Let's protect all of us! Please update clear science and guidelines for these devices!

The intensity of the bulbs is the most difficult to deal with. When driving through a roadway with oncoming vehicles and meeting their headlights, from dusk until daylight, I experience a blindness. Once the headlights come towards me I find that it takes longer for my retinas to adjust and leave me with a brief period where what I look at ahead of me is not clear enough for a few moments. The intensity of these types of light are so strong that its difficult to not be impacted, even when diverting my focus to the lines along the side of the road as I pass the vehicles. Often one oncoming vehicle after another makes it harder becomes the intensity does not lessen for several minutes.

I would have thought I had an eyesight deficiency that may be attributing except for the fact that it is general conversation that people around me state that it is difficult for them to see with oncoming and past these headlights as well. Therefore I can at least conclude that its something to do with the headlights. When this Ban Blinding Headlights petition began, I began reading all of the information being gathered on the subject which lead me to believe there is something not right and potentially dangerous about us using these bulbs and being exposed day after day to them. My question is what are they doing to our eyesight? In addition are these bulbs being used in the best way by serving as headlights? Thank you, sincerely for looking into this situation.

The increase in these frequencies has had life altering effects on my family. My husband has EHS. This has greatly affected our income. He can only work from home and can often be "triggered" by things we haven't thought about. He can't go out like a normal person. Can't go to his childs sporting events, because there seems to be a tower whereever there is an open field. He can't go on a vacation - even if we did have the money. This is like an imprisionment on our family, and the crime, having health that is affected by electromagnetic fields. Now so many people are wearing EMF's...he can't even go near people. The worst thing is that we are seen as "crazy" because people don't want to know how bad EMF's are. There is very little support out there.

It would be really good if there was a diagnostic code for this condition. At least it would be recognised by the medical community.

While I am speaking about the medical community is one of the things that scares me the most is that hospitals now have high levels of EMF's. There need to be laws around this. Our child had to go to hospital and my husband couldn't even be there because he would get sick. No place is safe.

How does he recover? God has his back and we believe he will, but in the meantime it would be good to know about treatment protocols. And, most importantly, there needs to be laws around the levels of frequencies, especially in hospitals and churches. This has had a profound affect on our lives. And, if it was 25 years ago, this condition didn't even exist because there was not the level of radiation that there is today. Please stop this level of EMF's. Stop towers, make sure they are not emiting high amounts of radiation. Because this is a silent killer.

I knew that AC florescent lighting made me ill in first grade in 1966. I only recently became aware that this sensitivity may be due to the amount of "dirty electricity" associated with these lights or it might be the flicker. 60 years after this first became a problem I was diagnosed with Post Trauma Vision Syndrome. I came home from school every day in first and second grade with a headache and begged my mother to teach me at home instead. My mother didn't know that home schooling was an option. The next similar sensitivity that I noticed was to microwave ovens. When my mother got one, I found I had to back away from it when it was in use because it made me feel overwhelmed. As an adult from 1986-1998, I lived off the grid with DC solar power. I found I could tolerate DC flourscent light perhaps because of the lack of flicker or perhaps because dirty electricity is not a DC problem. In 1998 a modified sine wave inverter began to be used in my house. My health began to decline and in 2003 I became mentally ill. At some point wifi came into my house. I didn't know what it was, my husband or eldest step son would have been the ones who understood that it was present when it was first installed. I recovered my mental health through neurofeedback in 2007 and became a neurofeedback coach. When my mentor who owned one of the most powerful cell phones on the market at the time handed me his phone to speak with clients, I would find having his phone near me overwhelming. In order to be more easily reached by my clients, I bought a cell phone in 2007, we now had a local tower 2-3 miles away from where I was living. Mine was not as powerful a phone. Less overwhelming than my mentor's cell phone, I could not have long conversations on my cell phone without being thrown off balance physiologically. My next cell phone a 3G phone seemed to put out slightly less radiation, but was still a problem. I began texting when I got this phone. I noticed that my thyroid reacted to texting. I have tinnitus,24 hours a day, never stops, is chronic. It started in march 2024 and got louder by august that year. I can hear my heartbeat that is faster when I wake up at my friends place. My heartbeat sounds slower consequently at my place which I've been able to avoid getting smart meter so far. Luckily for me, Ndis and local ombudsman have helped me avoid a reading meter fee by ausnet services.

I regularly stay a few nights per week at my friends place who has a smart meter and lives closer to mobile phone towers than my place.

When I had mercury amalgam poisoning in October 2020, I became disabled to work as real estate agent because it made me become hypersensitive to the radiations of cellphone, wifi and similar technologies. It made me weak and some parts my body numb. It also caused my left eye to be completely blind. I needed to move and live in a camping tent in a foresty land in order to be away from electronic and electrical radiations. I applied for disability benefit with SSA but unfortunately they do not consider Electrohypersensitivity as a disabling illness. I feel that it is very unfair. Change is needed.

Because of my experience, I want mercury amalgam fillings be banned and that the public must be warned and be prevented from the adverse effects on health by the radiations of cellphone, wifi, smart meter, cellphone towers and other similar technology.

I live in Slovenia, about 90 meters from cell towers. I am unvaccinated and have not had COVID-19. My health issues began with 4G deployment (shoulder calcifications) and exploded with 5G. Symptoms include brain fog, poor concentration and memory, ear pain, insomnia, extreme fatigue, and joint pain. Symptoms disappear when changing locations. Replacing our modem worsened ear pain. Turning off home Wi-Fi 3 years ago eliminated frequent colds/coughing and reduced some symptoms, though fatigue and cognitive issues persist. I now use my mobile phone only for SMS. In enclosed spaces, especially modern cars (with GPS, built-in SIMs, radar, and sensors), reactions occur in 100% of cases. Phone calls or active wireless in cars cause severe pressure, breathing difficulty, voice distortion, and panic/suffocation, forcing me to open windows. Talking on the phone for 10 minutes distorts my voice and causes flu-like symptoms for a week. Strong Wi-Fi exposure triggers insomnia, sore throat, and respiratory symptoms. I attribute these reactions to EMF/high-frequency disruptions of oxygen transport: Tissue Hypoxia: Deprivation of adequate oxygen to cells. Rouleaux Effect / Red Blood Cell Agglutination: Red blood cells stacking due to charge changes, impairing capillary flow and oxygen delivery. Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS): EMF-triggered vascular constriction and air deprivation. After installing a rooftop solar inverter, holding a wired mouse caused pain/electrical sensations despite all wireless being off. Measurements confirmed "dirty electricity" from the inverter converting DC to AC, creating voltage spikes across unshielded house wiring. I and many others are victims of the targeted individual program which abusively misuses EMFs, RFs, and wireless radiation exposure on citizens thereby committing some of the most heinous crimes against humanity and war crimes ever committed. Across the nation many residents are concerned about the small cell wireless antennas being deployed in our community. These powerful antennas, part of the next generation of wireless technology (5G), are being placed in close proximity to our homes, schools and other places where we engage in the activities of our daily lives, even though there is no science that assures their safety. This is an undeniable risk. The rapid rollout of the next generation in wireless communications known as “5G." In neighborhoods like ours across America, so-called “small cell” antennas need to be installed close to homes and apartments to facilitate this new technology. The deployment raises serious issues that should concern everyone in our community: safety, security, privacy, property values and health. The FCC’s human exposure guidelines for the radio frequency (RF) microwave radiation used for this technology are decades out of date and the agency has dismissed the results of decade-long research on RF microwave radiation and human health completed last year by the National Toxicology Program that showed “clear evidence of carcinogenicity.” Because the health and safety of our families is at stake, we demand a moratorium on further deployment of 5G until it can be proven safe. NOTE: This is a security and privacy issue. Wireless networks are relatively easy to hack compared to fiber-optic wired networks. Data from your phone and other wireless personal or home devices can be easily captured and marketed. In addition, small cell installations have the capacity to house cameras for facial recognition, as they do in China. What guarantees do we have that the technology will not be abused? This is a safety issue. Local zoning codes are meant to protect our safety, but the wireless industry is fighting those codes. Most existing utility poles (the preferred location for small cell antennas because it’s cheap) were not designed to withstand the hundreds of pounds of additional equipment, and severe weather events could bring down the poles, causing damage to our homes and property. 2 decades ago I developed serious sleep problems. For 2 years I slept very little. Then one day I noticed a strange small structure on the roof of tthe neighbouring apartment block. I found out it had been installed there for 2 yrears. It was a cell phone booster station. I researched that and found out that it was likely the cause of my sleep problem. I coated our bed room walls facing it with 3 layers of tin foil and slept fine after that.

After the rollout of 5G, my tinnitus became markedly worse. I continue to live with this debilitating, never ending ringing that nothing seems to alleviate. Once the 5G service began in my area, I quickly noticed the change in my tinnitus level.
