I have suffered from Electromagnetic Radiation Syndrome for over 6 years. It was diagnosed by two clinicians. Our home is near a cell tower and we had to take significant measures to remediate our exposure not only to the cell towers, but also to our exposure to all the smart meters in our neighborhood. We have no WIFI in our house and painted the walls in our bedrooms to block the radiation coming through. It gave me headaches, insomnia and aggravated my Lyme disease. It's especially bad inside a newer car with all kinds of smart devices. I was made aware of more people who had the same issue and became an EMF Consultant. I have clients who suffered horribly from their exposure, and many didn't have the financial resources needed to mitigate the problem. This is a serious problem. Our government agencies must do their due diligence to protect the people from this ubiquitous environmental toxin.

I am submitting this comment as a consumer concerned about long-term exposure to wireless radiation from phones, Wi-Fi routers, cell towers, and other connected devices.

I urge HHS to conduct a thorough, independent review of whether current exposure limits adequately protect public health. This review needs to consider those most heavily exposed and should examine potential effects beyond tissue heating, including evidence concerning cancer, reproductive health, and children’s development.

Please prioritize research that reflects how people actually encounter wireless radiation: repeated exposure over many years, often from multiple sources and devices used close to the body. Assessments should consider signal strength, pulse patterns, duration, and combined exposure.

Please consider Melnick and Moskowitz’s 2026 analysis of animal data, which argues that existing exposure limits may inadequately protect against cancer and reproductive harm (https://doi.org/10.1186/s12940-026-01288-6). I also ask HHS to evaluate Lai and Levitt’s review of exposure intensity, duration, and signal modulation (https://doi.org/10.1080/15368378.2022.2065683), and Scarato’s review of US regulatory gaps and proposed reforms (https://doi.org/10.3389/fpubh.2025.1677583). These papers warrant careful consideration alongside the broader evidence, including studies that have not found adverse effects.

I ask HHS to:

•Assess whether additional protections are needed for children, pregnant women, and other potentially vulnerable groups.

•Support long-term research with safeguards against industry conflicts of interest.

•Provide clear information about exposure and practical ways to reduce it, including wired alternatives in homes and schools.

•Recommend updated standards wherever the evidence shows that existing limits are insufficient.

Consumers should not have to navigate these questions alone. Please use this inquiry to advance transparent science, meaningful oversight, and public health protection.

I am an army veteran. While I was standing in front of a row of radios fixing them in the battalion TOC, a rocket hit in the parking lot out front. I was standing on the elevated part of the room where radio operators sit but I was standing. People below me were all sitting. Because I was standing I was above the sand bags that were in the windows. When the blast came through while it did not knock me out I felt the force of it go through me. But as no one else seemed affected I assumed I was fine other than having a headache for which I went to the medic and got medicine for. How this is related to frequencies is that I have over the years since this event became very sensitive to frequencies. To the extent where I am now disabled. The VA does not recognize this as the cause but as they will not hear me over the past 20 years I have had to learn ways to deal with the symptoms. My spouse and I have tracked what makes the symptoms worse. Frequencies seem to really set it off. When this happens it causes migraines, dizziness, nausea sometimes vomiting and acute sensitivity to everything. Saw noises set it off. When it’s a cloudy day high pressure that sets it off. Going to stores or indoor places of any kind that has a lot of floresent or led lights sets it off. I have had to avoid these places that includes church because of it. My hope is that by this inquiry these concerns will be looked into. I’d be glad to help.

As a concerned mother and retired elementary-school teacher, I urge FCC to take a strong stance protecting public health by updating our current exposure-guidelines to appropriate safety levels that protect our people.

Wireless radiation standards haven’t been updated by FCC since 1996. Given that the ‘safe’ level established in 1996 already surpassed the evidence-based threshold-of-harm that thousands of scientific studies indicated, and given that we and our children are now in a wireless environment bombarded with higher and higher levels of radiation – cell-phone grids, wireless phones, Smartboards, plasma TV’s, computers, wireless Internet, ear phones, etc. – the public, especially children and elderly, are being subjected to an ever-increasing virulent and toxic soup of radiation exposure. And it is having dire consequences.

Children are demonstrating increasing levels of agitation, distractibility and sleeping disorders (from the students I taught back in 1978), due to wireless overstimulation. There is also mitochondrial damage from over-exposure. Recently, five wireless meters were added to end of my building, and my sleeping patterns have been affected. Further, adults and senior citizens are increasingly complaining of balance and disorientation issues that often result in serious injuries. Humans are electromagnetic beings, just like other animals, and in the same way that geese or whales are disrupted in migratory routes by an overload of wireless radiation, humans are adversely impacted, as well.

These reckless dangers must stop. Our exposure guidelines are archaic and do not reflect the wireless soup in which we’re immersed. Please protect public health by updating our current exposure-guidelines to appropriate safety levels that protect our people.

I am writing regarding the FCC’s response to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines. The Court directed the FCC to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its guidelines adequately protect humans against harmful effects of RF radiation unrelated to cancer. Specifically, the court required the FCC to address the impacts of RF radiation on children, the health implications of long-term exposure, the ubiquity of wireless devices and technological developments, impacts on the environment, and the adequacy of the FCC’s testing procedures for cell phones and other portable devices. The FCC should fully consider evidence and real-world experiences concerning the health and environmental impacts of wireless radiation, including non-cancer health effects, impacts on children, long-term and cumulative exposure, cancer, and impacts on wildlife and the environment. The FCC is not a health agency and does not have expertise in medicine, biology or public health. Yet, the agency continues to assert authority over RF exposure standards and is preparing to reach conclusions about whether its existing guidelines adequately protect the public. I urge the FCC to recognize the critical role of federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and to rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. This issue matters to me personally because: While in the military I developed migraines and vertigo that were triggered by high EMF environments. Moreover, It is well know that HF radios in fighter jets cause cancer. Please reference any fighter jet systems manual. We use to call the cone of the antenna in front of the jet the cone of cancer. There are notes, warnings and cautions pertaining to this danger. While there are different frequency ranges to the many avionics in a fighter jet some of these frequency bands reserved for the military have been released for use by the tech industry within the civilian population(Why?). There is a clear safety issue with this current technology please also…

How I became EMF sensitive. I am 73 years old and I think, I was in my early 30's when my husband got us a new phone. He was so amazed, he could walk out of our apartment onto the sidewalk and still could talk and be heard on the other end. We keep this phone in our bedroom unfortunately. I learned many years later, the body repairs itself when we sleep. So, this phone was not letting us repair our bodies during the night. I remember, I had an one hour conversation on that phone and my head was hot and I was a bit disoriented. I made a note to myself, not to use that phone for long calls etc. I got a job working the front desk of a chiropractors office. For 13 years I sat in front of a computer, working 8 hours a day. At one point I got divorced and was walking through a Farmer's Market and this women had a cellphone. They used to have a big long antenna and she was moving her head up and down, left and right and I could feel the antenna energy, cutting through my head. You can immage, I was trying to distance myself from this lady. I eventually moved from Los Angeles to Norwalk California and moved into a mobile home. By this I was about 51 years old. Mobile homes are kind of close to each other and for some reason, I didn't like sleeping in the bed room. I preferred sleeping on the couch in the living room, against a wall, that had a switch, that turned of the energy from the electric socket. During this time, I was working out of my home and was on the computer a lot, plus I had a telephone and internet access through a satelite dish. During this time, I had a basal cell and saw a macrobiotic couselor who cured herself from a very heavy cancer. She recommended a few things to me: get rid of the satelite dish, spend less time on the compure and follow her macrobiotic diet. It took 1 year and 7 months but the basal cell was no longer cancerous. I also, looked out my bedroom window and I had 6 satelite dishes on the corner of each mobile home: my mobile home, my right neifhbor, across of him/ my right, the Mobile home directly across from me, the mobile home to my left kitty corner from me and the one to my left. That is WAY TO MUCH EXPOSURE. No wonder I…

I am submitting this comment as someone concerned about the health effects of wireless radiation as well as the effects on the environment. AI Overview: Wireless devices emit low-intensity radiofrequency (RF) radiation (a form of non-ionizing electromagnetic fields) to transmit data. Major health organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration state that current scientific evidence does not conclusively prove that low-level RF exposure causes adverse health effects or cancer. However, independent researchers, public health groups, and the International Agency for Research on Cancer note several potential and debated risks. Main Health Risks and Studies • Carcinogen Classification: The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classifies radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as a Group 2B "possible carcinogen" based on limited evidence in humans and animal studies linking heavy, long-term cell phone use to certain brain tumors (such as malignant gliomas and non-malignant acoustic neuromas). • Animal Studies & DNA Damage: The U.S. National Toxicology Program (NTP) found clear evidence of heart tumors (schwannomas) and some evidence of brain and adrenal gland tumors in male rats exposed to high levels of cell phone RF radiation, along with signs of cellular DNA damage. • Oxidative Stress: A large portion of peer-reviewed laboratory studies indicate that low-intensity RF radiation can trigger oxidative stress (an imbalance of free radicals and antioxidants), which may lead to cellular or tissue inflammation and disrupted cell signaling. • Symptom Reports: Some individuals report physiological symptoms—such as headaches, chronic fatigue, sleep disturbances, agitation, and tinnitus—that they attribute to close or prolonged exposure to mobile phones, Wi-Fi routers, and cellular base stations, though conditions like "electromagnetic hypersensitivity" are not formally recognized by mainstream health consensus as directly caused by EMF fields. • Reproductive & Developmental Concerns: Certain studies point to potential drops in sperm count and motility from carrying phones in pants pockets, as well as possible…

My name is Bonnie. I have noticed problems with electronics in my life over 15 years now and slowly getting worse. It is ruining my life as I've done many things over the years to improve my EMF connection. The medical doctors I've spoken to about this seemed to be not interested or just know nothing about it. I have 12 books on the subject that have helped me to some degree. I turn off electricity in my bedroom, bathroom and my office at night. I had my son disconnect the wi-fi and bluetooth and all other related wi-fi connections in my entire house. The modem is in the basement at the far end away from the bedroom. I am so aware the the neighbors out back may have pretty intense radiation from their home as they work from home.

I can start my day feeling like my old self but when I turn on the electric in the basement for the whole house it all returns. Sometimes going out for a walk does help but when I drive my 2015 version of Corolla it's not stopping me from driving as I bought a device that seems to help concentrate my brain. I don't know how much longer I can go driving, however I live alone and need my car almost every day as my husband has dementia in a facility and I visit him even though I am dizzy with brain fog. That foggy brain mixed with dizzy is what I experience for symptoms at nearly all times of day, not so much at night. It's been over 15 years at least now that I have those symptoms. Back in 2015 I had a Toyota Prius and that is when I first noticed how intense this was getting. Had to sell the car since every time I drove it I would get to tired that when I returned home or anywhere I had to lie down. That forced me to sell the car and that's how I ended up buying the Corolla Toyota as it doesn't affect me so badly even though the radiation device measures in the danger zone. Can you do something about this?
