Here's a comment: Get a new Secretary of Health and Human Services.

I'm all for questioning government and regulation and in particular the FDA, but for sanity's sake: Get RFK Jr. the hell out of office. He's a conspiracy theorist and a danger to public health.

This comment comes from a previously licensed master electrician who has been hired to solve problems associated with EMF/EMR. sensitivity.

Never knew of the issue until contacted to solve a problem for people in an apartment complex with problems sleeping. Long story short headboard walls which were common in all units had a magnetic field measured by a gauss meter which was much higher than is naturally occuring. SInce then have found many issues with EMFs, RF, and dirty electricity affecting my health and I believe the health of the general public. Truthfully I believe the ever increasing amount of RF from satellites, cell towers, cell phones electronic devices are having a detrimental effect on all of us and the natural state of the planet. Look at the state of weather around the globe, the ever decreasing state of well being of everyone, we most likely won't figure it out until its too late. God help us. Because the people who could are willfully ignorant for various reasons.

I would appreciate if HHS can look at smart meters being deployed in WA State. We were oven no choice by the local utility PUD to install smart meters . I declined and proved health risk proof but my request was denied. The utility installed the new smart meters in our whole neighborhood. They said I can pay an extra $25 a month to not have it turned in which I did a. Dot, however all my neighbors have it so I am still at risk.

It is hard to comment when I am sitting in from of a computer, an EMF producer! I am very sensitive to cell phones, cell towers, wifi, lithium batteries high tension wires and MUCH more. While in the presence of a strong cell phone, I cannot think, speak or exert normally. If I am exposed for very long, I will be totally wiped out for a day or more afterwards. I am living at the far edge of town on almost an acre with nothing. behind it. I stay here because going out exposes me to cell phones, smart cars. high tension wires, cell towers and other EMF devices. The current high EMF environment has seriously handicapped me and caused me to be primarily bound to my own property, which is not perfect but so much better than going anywhere else. It has basically stopped my social life. My husband does all the shopping. I am severely restricted in where I can go. This has gotten exponentially worse from the time we returned from a Bangladesh assignment in 2013.

I request clear, evidence-based information about the possible health risks associated with exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs), radiofrequency (RF) radiation, and wireless technologies. Please address exposure levels, duration, and multiple sources, as well as potential implications for children, pregnant individuals, and workers with frequent exposure. The assessment should distinguish established risks—such as tissue heating at high RF exposure levels—from possible long-term effects, including cancer risks, that remain uncertain or under investigation. Please also explain how current safety limits are established and recommend practical ways to reduce unnecessary exposure.

For six years I worked on the bottom floor of a three story building that had a cell phone tower installed on the roof.

I developed a mystery illness that progressively got worse to where I lost my ability to function, sleep, think and my career.

My lifestyle was just work, gym 3x a week 3 meals a day & shopping/chores on the weekends. Nothing crazy but losing a career at 47 is devastating, living in poverty and afraid of doctors.

EMF, dirty electricity, etc. all need to be studied quickly because they are affecting humans. I know many peoples through the years that have had issues with this and the towers and now with everything wireless, problems are much more wide spread I believe one of the answers is for people to have adequate iodine in their bodies. Unless we know definitively that there is no harm to human health from 5G radiation those studies should be done before any further use of the technology. How often do we find out 20 years or more later what a terrible mistake was made, and how the common good was ignored in the name of profit and progress. Independent studies need to be conducted before allowing industry and government to continue using 5G.

To HHS: wireless radiation is a serious Health Risk. I have personally dealt with severe chronic health issues for many years. I'm aware that Radiation exposure has effected my sensistive nervous system affecting sleep, thyroid issues, hormone imbalance, exhaustion, depletion etc... Studies show oxidative stress (167 abstracts), DNA damage (82), male infertility (44), lipid peroxidation (43), cognitive decline (38), cancers (34), low sperm quality (33), brain cancer (28), headache (20), sleep disorders (15) and fatigue (14). Further down the list: childhood leukemia, acoustic neuroma, salivary gland disease, hearing disorders, ALS, Alzheimer’s, autism spectrum disorders, birth defects, hypothyroidism, autoimmune disease....

I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.

I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.

I want these towers taken down! When I’m around them for too long I have anxiety, depression, irritability, insomnia. I’ve spoken to my family and they have similar thoughts and experiences! Im hearing 6g is going to be to control the human mind. I don’t know if that’s true but if so it’s a huge human rights violation. Do something as soon as possible.

I fully support scientific research and reviewing public health standards, but I also believe we need to be careful not to create unnecessary fear about technology that has been studied for decades.

Let's stick to the facts. 5G, Wi-Fi, and cell towers use non-ionizing radiofrequency radiation. This is not the same as X-rays or gamma rays. It does not carry enough energy to directly damage DNA through ionization.

The World Health Organization and National Cancer Institute have reviewed extensive research, and the overall human evidence has not established that everyday wireless exposure within established safety limits causes cancer. A major systematic review published in 2024 also found that mobile phone use likely does not increase the risk of several types of brain tumors.

That doesn't mean we should stop studying it. Science is constantly evolving, and reviewing long-term exposure, newer technologies, and existing safety standards is perfectly reasonable.

What concerns me is when legitimate scientific questions get turned into fearmongering. Just because something is called "radiation" doesn't automatically mean it's dangerous. Exposure levels, frequency, duration, and actual biological effects matter.

I would encourage HHS to prioritize credible, peer-reviewed research, distinguish established risks from theoretical concerns, and be transparent about what the evidence actually shows.

If new evidence demonstrates a legitimate health risk, then absolutely update the regulations. But public health policy should be based on reproducible scientific evidence, not speculation, political agendas, or public fear.

We owe the American public accurate information, not another reason to be unnecessarily afraid of something they use every day.

I recently moved into a condo that shared a bedroom wall with my neighbor. From that time forward, I expeienced severe insomnia (which I had not experienced before) that resulted in my getting only 2-4, frequently interrupted hours of sleep a night.

I reached out to an Indoor Environmental Consultant  / Building Biologist  /  EMF Consultant who took a variety of EMF measurements in the bedroom, and it determined that high levels of EMF were coming through the wall I shared with my neighbor. These measurements were taken with all power to my bedroom turned off at the breaker box.

We were able to discuss the concern with my neighbor who agreed to turn off her wifi and televisions each night using outlet shut off switches. I was able to get more sleep (6-8 hours) once the EMF coming through the wall was significantly reduced.

A few years ago I developed tinnitus in an instant. I was sitting in my office in Safety Harbor, FL and the ringing in my ears was instant. This happened around Spring of 2023 I think. the ringing has never stopped.

I believe it us caused by EMF or RF.

We recently got a tower about 2 years ago less than 400 yards firm our home. Since. My kids have constantly had tummy aches and low sugar.

I have also been a bee keeper for 14 years. I no longer can keep a hive. All my apple trees closest to the tower have all died. I csnt grow things in that area.

It is also near a school which is Terrifying

About 5 years ago I had significant numb and tingling in my hands after sitting with my phone in my hands for some time. I wondered if it was the phone. I ordered a Safe Sleeve to block radiation and it made a significant difference! Had same sensation laying in bed in my hands/arms and feet/legs. Got filters for the outlets next to the bed and sensation lessened. January this year I moved in to my husbands house, we got married this past February. By April I felt like I was dying from EMF exposure. He has smart meters, router is in TV room. I can't sit in the chair in that room any more as I feel the EMF's. Not only the tingling but it feels like I have a hand pressing on my upper chest 99% of the time. We got a grounding bed sheet that helped for a while but now I'm back to square one. I can't do much without getting out of breath. My mind is not as sharp as it normally is. I can't live like this and I'm working on getting products to help block EMF's but they are costly. I'm an anal health nut and for me to feel this terrible is devastating to me at age 72. My 2021 Subaru Crosstreck has 35 computers in it. I feel the "hand on my chest" when I'm in the car. It wasn't that noticeable until I had issues from living in this house. I'm hoping my husband will call ComEd to have the smart meter changed back to the old meter. It's right next to the stove and in line with the chair I used to sit in every evening. The numb tingling often keeps me awake at night. EMF's are a real problem, especially for sensitive people like me. It also causes many other health problems. I know of people whose doctors can't find anything wrong with them. I'd bet my life it's EMF's!!!

I’m extremely concerned about wireless radiation. We run a center for adults with autism and they can hardly tolerate any frequency, it affects their behavior and mental health in extraordinary ways. Please listen to Children’s Health Defense EMR department who are raising the alarm. If we truly want to make America healthy Again then this must be of utmost priority.
