Hi!

I realized that I suffered from electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) in 2009, though I have experienced symptoms since I was young. I am now 56 years old. I suffer from headaches, difficulty concentrating, memory problems, dizziness, diarrhea, sleep disturbances, skin rashes, a lack of initiative, dry mouth, physical pain, nausea, and stiffness. If I am exposed to high levels of EMF, I experience anxiety and depression.

I react primarily to radiofrequency radiation. It makes no difference whether it comes from mobile phones, cell towers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, smartwatches, or other connected devices. Magnetic fields in cars can also be an issue; there are very few vehicles I am able to travel in.

In 2010, I had my home shielded against EMF, which led to a significant improvement in my health. Since then, however, radiation levels here in Sweden have increased enormously, and my current shielding is no longer fully adequate. My health has gradually deteriorated. When I go into town to shop, it now takes me over 24 hours to recover—previously, it only took a couple of hours. I can manage to visit two or three shops before I have to return home because I have become too unwell.

I am convinced that, sooner or later, we will eliminate or drastically reduce radiofrequency radiation in our society. The sooner we do so, the fewer people will have their health destroyed.

In the appendix, I have included studies that I believe should be taken into account.

Best regards,

Henrik Albertson

Wireless radiation is a major concern especially for children. People I personally know that live right next to a cell tower have had issues with cancer. In schools, many classrooms have at least one wireless access point. It is very possible this is causing behavior problems. Sitting right under a box emitting radiation is certainly not a good idea especially for little bodies. 5G cell towers are being forced upon us. Even if we forgo wifi at home, we are still exposed to the ever growing cell towers. They are becoming more powerful and there are more of them. There needs to be serious reform on wireless radiation. This is our generation's carcinogenic problem.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment. 2. I have experienced health problems as an individual worker and consumer. 3. Headaches In the 1990s until 2001 when I was laid off, I inspected consumer electronic equipment. There were two equipment setups and one type of product that caused headaches. The headaches reminded me of lightning: sharp, intense pain for a very short period of time. They frequently occurred in groups of three. The groups might be repeated a couple of times during the hour. Then there might be nothing until hours later. As far as I remember, they occurred at work, starting the second day that I inspected the same type of product as the previous day. It was a delayed reaction: I never got these headaches on the first day. Equipment Setups (the products had been inspected using other equipment or arrangement of equipment that did not cause a problem): - Computer monitors inside a Helmholtz coil: the inspector was on one side, the electronics on the opposite side of the coil, and the monitor in between. A large number of monitors were inspected in this manner for a year. Everyone who did the work got headaches although they were different types of headaches. - Stereo receivers: equipment used to check the inputs and outputs was placed on carts within arm’s reach, resulting in amplifiers and speakers being very close. Products: telephones, usually cordless but a few cellphones also. __________ Later, long after I left the job, I needed a cellphone. I got a flip phone and had no problems. Then technology changed to smart phones. I got a weaker version of my previous headaches: a delayed reaction of 1.5 to 2 days, less pain that lasted longer, and all pain was gone within three months from one phone call. Now, I do not use any kind of mobile phone. __________ a. Mobile phones, cordless phones; electronic equipment with higher than normal magnetic fields, or possibly dirty electricity b. Work environment: exposure to Helmholtz coil was frequent for a year; others infrequent. In other words, we spent more time inspecting computer monitors than cordless phones or stereo receivers. c. Headaches d. The headaches appeared the second day of working in…

Thank you very much for this initiative! Here is my story. I live in a house in Edegem (Antwerp area), Flanders, Belgium, and since more than 20 years there are mobile phone antennas on appartment buildings at approximately 150 meters from my house. The amount of antennas is constantly increasing (as can be observed visually and is also stated in their legal documents), new constructions are being put for extra antennas and the amount of radiation is increasing as well, year by year (I have regularly verified this with measurements). There is 2G, 3G, 4G and now also 5G present. At some places in my house the amount of radiation reaches over 2,000 μW/m2 and in my garden it reaches 10,000 μW/m2. This is below the Flemish/Belgian 'safety norm', but far too high according to independent scientists and building biologists. Since the antennas have been put there, the following health problems have appeared in my family: one person got dementia (already deceased now), one person got womb cancer, which came back 2 times, and she had to undergo severe operations, one person got pancreas cancer at a terminal stage (about to die now), I feel often tired and depressed and our dog got severe epilepsy attacks (already deceased now) at a frequency and intensity that the vets hadn't seen anywhere before. We do not have any family history of these deseases, all other family members living in different places are quite healthy. Moving away is not an option for us, unfortunately. There are also other cases of cancer and young dementia present in the nearby area. All this makes us believe that there is an almost certain link with the mobile phone antennas. I have done effort and will continue trying to convince local and federal politicians to reconsider the safety standards, so that neither we nor anyone else goes through this. I hope this information is useful to you, so that public health can be protected from these dangerous technologies.
