I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure.

I am responding from the perspective of a parent and concerned member of the public.

I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.

I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.

Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

I am responding from the perspective of a parent and citizen.

In the last 10 years, the number of cell towers in every area that I've lived have increased exponentially. Their negative effect on the community is much further reaching than the severely outdated research being used to create legislation, would suggest. Seeing the presence of towers kept me from buying homes for fear that the harmful EMF and microwave radiation would cause long term health issues for my family, we moved from a heavily populated area to a much more rural one and still we are plagued by their presence- they are all over the college campus near us, endangering all the students. No technology should be assumed safe until proven dangerous. Clearly big telecom does not want the truth about the harms of these wireless emitting devices to be discovered, otherwise they would be open and thorough about the research and wouldn't be making it so difficult for people to comment, effect legislation, or protest them.

The harm that these antennas create NEEDS to be reviewed by regulatory agencies that are not captured. You (the government) owe it to your citizens to protect them, not to harm. Continuance of this head in the sand approach is harm, active harm.

I am responding from the perspective of a concerned member of the public.

Wireless radiation has affected our family and many friends we care about. Since a big cell phone tower and also smart meters have been installed in our neighborhood many people in our community begun experiencing tinnitus, poor sleep, and various body aches that did not diminished in intensity as time of exposure continued. Some of us have noticed relief of such symptoms when traveling to areas with lower level of EMFs exposure. Sadly the relief only occurs during the time away from home and returns to the same level of daily life disturbance when returning to our permanent dwellings.

It is simply unacceptable that anyone should disregard or dismiss health impacts of EMF exposure because when there are so many relevant cases impacting our communities throughout our country.

The range of these substantial environmental impacts have not been aggregated and published for public review. Life cannot reasonably be separated from the environment where it exists. After living in our home for many years a tower was erected within 100 feet from our backyard. We didn’t love the appearance but didn’t think too much of it. Then, a while later they ‘modified’ the tower and we began experiencing brain fog, fatigue, and just overall unwell. We decided to move away from that house as we didn’t want our children exposed any longer. While trying to move, My husband was then diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma at age 50. We definitely believe that the tower contributed to this occurrence.

Hi, I am a retired physician. I live in a condominium in Cincinnati, OH. Last year I learned that we have a hidden 5G cell tower on top of our condo bldg which was not disclosed to us at the time we purchased the condo. AT&T, I believe is paying into our HOA a significant amount of money to rent the space via a longterm contract expiring in 2046. I learned of the FCC lawsuit through a friend who gave me Dafna Tachover's telephone number and I called her to discuss this lawsuit. I read a large portion of this lawsuit especially the testimonies from Doctors who were caring for those believed having health issues related to wireless radiation. When I express my concern to my HOA, I was contacted by one of the residents who claimed she is getting headaches when she stays in her Cincinnati Condo but does not experience them at her other Tennessee residence. We have many of these towers nearby surrounding all the elementary schools, at least 3 in the area, and one is actually on or near the playground of one of the catholic elementary schools. It makes me sick to see this. I worry for the health of these children. I have tried to contact this fellow resident and asked her to report her health issues to you. Let me know what I can do to help.

Warmly,

Kathryn

Dear Mr. Secretary, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr,

Thank you for allowing the citizens of the United States the opportunity to share our experiences with non native EMFs and the adverse affects they have had on our bodies.

I have had heart palpitations for years, not knowing where they came from. When my husband's family recently had an emergency, we went to a country and area that does not have 5g. All of my heart palpitations disappeared while I was there for six months, but as soon as I returned to the United States, the heart palpitations started again. I was in a room with 5g wifi and there is also a 5g tower about a mile down the road. I could not sleep for a month, until I was forced to move into a home with no wifi and no 5g tower close by. My symptoms immediately went away. These nnEMFs can also worsen blood sugar (which I also have experienced). I know I am not the only one who has had an adverse effect from 5g towers and wifi. It affects each person differently. Thank you for all that you are doing to protect the innocent and vulnerable citizens of America. We pray that God continues to grant you wisdom and strength. May God bless and protect you.
