Docket HHS-OASH-2026-0397 Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure Question 2 – Perspective This comment is submitted by an individual with an interest in evidence-based public health. It draws on peer-reviewed literature, government and international agency assessments, and systematic reviews. Established findings are distinguished from emerging or uncertain evidence. Questions 5, 6, and 12 – Exposure standards, risk assessment, and evidence regarding effects at or below current federal limits Federal health agencies should consider the following established frameworks and evidence: • ICNIRP 2020 guidelines: The only substantiated adverse health effects of RF-EMF are those caused by tissue heating (thermal effects). The guidelines protect against all established adverse effects, including those relevant to 5G and other modern technologies. No adverse effects below the thermal threshold have been consistently substantiated in human populations at typical exposure levels. • U.S. FCC RF exposure limits (47 CFR 1.1310) and FDA assessments: These are based primarily on thermal effects (SAR). FDA has stated that the weight of scientific evidence does not support a causal link between RF exposure below these limits and cancer or other adverse health effects. • WHO-commissioned systematic reviews (2023–2025): Reviews of human observational studies on cancer (including glioma), cognition, reproduction, and non-specific symptoms generally found no or only small effects associated with RF-EMF exposure, with moderate certainty of evidence for the absence of increased brain tumor risk from mobile phone use. Confidence is lower for many other outcomes due to limited high-quality data. • IARC 2011 classification: RF-EMF is Group 2B (“possibly carcinogenic to humans”) based on limited evidence linking heavy mobile phone use to glioma and acoustic neuroma. This classification has not been upgraded. • NTP rodent studies (2018): These reported carcinogenic signals in male rats at high whole-body exposures well above typical human levels. Good afternoon I am writing on behalf of my 29 year disabled non verbal son. First off I would like to personally thank you for even looking into the harm that this technology can possible effect future generations of American children and for taking parents and care givers opinions serious and not dismissing our concerns. I will try to keep it to a specific time frame but the dates may not be exact. Approximately 9 years ago before the roll out of 5G technology I believe they may have been testing the rollout and my son was reacting to it. I can't prove it but he changed dramatically in that time frame. I have videos of body movement disorders that he had never experienced before, mind you he has always had a seizure disorder but these were different. He started to experience dystonic body movements that were so severe no one should ever experience anything like that in their lifetime and I fear for future generations of American children's lives may be at stake. I went all the way to the top of Neurology at the University of Washington and I was completely dismissed and gaslighted by that department of medicine and was told that my son had all of the sudden out of the blue developed "tics" and offered blood pressure medication to control them. I begged to differ and later learned that they had lied about his medication not causing movement disorders when I brought up his medication Tegretol and Amitriptyline they vehemently denied it. Whenever I would drive by a cell tower my son would have one of these severe attacks in the vehicle. It got so bad that he would not leave the house for 3 years. We are currently transitioning him over to cannabis in the state of Washington to help manage his movement disorder. I know geo fencing is coming and I am not naive to the fact that they want to contain citizens to certain zones and silence any one that speaks out against a future like this but at what point and the health and well being of future American children will we allow this technology to hurt and harm our children. As his nature path put it plainly my child is "the canary in the coal mind" and from what I witnessed as a mother I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy let alone future American children. Last Dec 20 25 our neighborhood learned they were going to put up a 54 foot cell tower at the entrance of an established 200 plus home neighbor hood. We had one week to contest and they passes it on chiristmas eve. it’s a know fact it causes cancer and I am sensitive to these EMF frequencies and had to remove the smart metter from my house. I’ve lived here for 26 years and now I will,have to move. Reno Nevada our city council is so corrupt!

I hate it and dont want to be exposed to it. We need a away to opt out of wireless electric meters too.

I am submitting this comment as an individual who has experienced severe and life-changing health problems that I associate with exposure to electromagnetic fields, particularly radiofrequency (RF) radiation from wireless devices. My sensitivity to wireless radiation began approximately four years ago. Gradually, I noticed that exposure to devices emitting wireless signals appeared to trigger or significantly worsen symptoms similar to those associated with fibromyalgia, including physical pain, exhaustion, and a profound reduction in my ability to function both physically and mentally. At the time, I was living in Paris and working in the IT industry, which meant that I was surrounded by wireless devices and exposed to multiple sources of RF radiation on a daily basis. Despite trying to reduce my exposure, I gradually became less and less able to cope with the demands of my professional life. I had to progressively reduce my working hours and responsibilities until I eventually reached a point where I could no longer work at all. Approximately two and a half years ago, I also had to leave Paris and move back in with my parents in the countryside in an attempt to improve my health, at age 30. Although my current living environment has significantly less wireless radiation than my previous one, exposure is far from absent, partly because there are mobile phone base stations in the village. My symptoms remain severe and have a devastating impact on my daily life. Whenever I have to leave the house or when other people use mobile phones inside the house, I experience a significant worsening of my symptoms. Conversely, I have noticed that spending time in quiet environments with very low levels of wireless radiation can bring some relief and allow me to recover a small degree of well-being. This observation has become one of the most important factors in my efforts to manage my condition. The consequences extend far beyond physical discomfort. I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding from the perspective of a well-educated 69 year old female whose life has been very greatly impacted by my being disablingly sensitive to electromagnetic radiation. I live in the UK, where EHS (electrohypersensitivity) is a condition not recognised by the health service, to the point of there being no code available to allow the condition to be entered into my medical records. Nor is there any treatment or support available from the National Health Service. Exposure to radiation from mobile phones and Wi-Fi affect me the most, inducing nausea, extreme brain fog and overwhelming tiredness; I can feel any electrical current, even low voltage DC, and emfs from household circuitry and appliances affect me adversely. Technological "progress" is making daily living an increasing challenge. Finding any environment in which it is physically safe to work has become increasingly problematic, leading to long-term unemployment and its financial consequences. My social isolation has been extreme, resulting initially from my inability to participate because all social activities (employment, cultural, religious, educational, healthcare, travel, transport, shopping...) involve, these days, exposure to wifi, blutooth and mobile phones, etc. This led me to a lengthy period of severe depression and anxiety, which increased the isolation because often I have been too depressed even to talk with my remaining friends. Possibly the worst thing emotionally was discovering, as a result of EHS, how corrupted science has become; how extremely unkind so many people can be; and how many politicians claiming to care about inclusiveness and democracy don't give a damn about actual real people who are suffering. Dealing with the resulting disillusionment while also dealing with ill health and extreme isolation has been a transformative experience and my understanding of the world has changed. Hello I would like the government regulatory dept to conduct an analysis of radiation exposure from wireless transmission. I am sensitive to radiation poisoning as I’m sure millions of citizens are also. It is concerning for our youth and society to have to always worry about protecting ourselves from our agencies not looking into third party testing before going ahead and installing. This is problematic as it is too late when the government steps in.

Wireless radiation is harmful to humans as well as to the ecological system.

I did not consent, nor do I consent today, to the continuous, involuntary exposure to biologically active RF radiation. My injury from radio frequency radiation began in the 2010s when millimeter scanners were used for airport security. When I had to go through one, I would be bedridden the entire next day because my body couldn’t function from the radiation exposure. In 2016 when a router at work was installed on the outer wall above my desk, I was disabled with heart palpitations, headaches, dizziness, nausea, the top of my head felt as it the sun was burning the top of my brain and my body was overwhelmed with feeling as if a weighted blanket had been thrown over me. The router had to be removed. When cell towers were built, they harmed me with stabbing pain through my head and neck, palpitations, headache and dizziness. I would have to alter my driving route to avoid them. Since the 2020s when their numbers were significantly increased, they are impossible to avoid. I have the same harmful symptoms when driving past them. On July 8, 2024 when smart meters were installed in my neighborhood, the harm from the pulse-modulated RF radiation (the worst kind) was great. I suffered debilitating harm. Does your house have a constant frequency noise 24/7 so loud that you can't sleep at nice or read quietly during the daytime. Has your mitochondria and memory affected without understanding what has happened to your energy? EMF's, RF's and wireless radiation have affected my health and lifestyle. This happens when I travel in my car, stay at a hotel and visit another state and stay at a family members home. The frequency is relentless.

First and foremost, the entire concept of pooling average Americans, who don’t even understand how electricity gets to their toaster, let alone understand the complexities of the combined physics and physiology of how non ionizing electromagnetic radiation effects human tissue, is at best misguided and at worst purposefully intended to produce a biased outcome.

But this is what happens when a politician with brain damage and no education in the sciences is placed in charge of a government agency wholly dependent upon science and technology. You get bad decisions and bad data.

Any and all questions and concerns about currently in use RF technology is already settled science. The effects of every part of the electromagnetic spectrum from DC to daylight Has been researched, theorized, and tested for decades. This has been done by actual scientists in physics, medicine, and engineering. No input from the uneducated masses is valid or needed.

I am far more educated and experienced than an average citizen in RF. I have worked in/with RF for decades both professionally and as a licensed amateur radio operator holding an Amateur Extra Class license. In 50 years of near field exposure, always following the FCC exposure limit guidelines, I have never had a single issue of any kind. This includes work with HF, VHF, UHF, and into Gigahertz applications.

I have taught Amateur Radio theory to hundreds of students and those interactions demonstrated to me how little understanding of electrical and RF theory is held by otherwise well-educated people.

It is my sincere belief that one purpose or result of this survey, will be to justify the termination of the entire Amateur Radio service and spectrum in the United States so that it may be monetized and licensed to commercial uses. This is what this administration is attempting to do with all public resources.

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding as a concerned parent, researcher, and member of the public. I personally have not noticed any effects from wireless radiation in its various forms, such as cell phones, Wi-Fi routers, 4G, and 5G. However, I have researched this topic and understand that the energies involved can impact not only human health but also the health of plants, animals, and insects. As a precaution, I have limited my use of these technologies. I find it surprising that these technologies were initially tested solely for their ability to heat human tissue. Is that true science, or just a means to advance harmful technology for the profit of large corporations at the expense of the public? Those who rushed this technology into production decades ago seemed to care little for the well-being of the people who would live and work near these radiation emitters. I have read numerous accounts of individuals who struggled with unexplained medical symptoms, only to discover that moving away from a cell phone tower or turning off wireless networks in their homes resolved all their issues. Additionally, there are firefighters who have sued due to health problems linked to these emitters at their fire stations. While this technology cannot be seen, smelled, or tasted, it can cause significant health problems. The power of these emitters has increased dramatically compared to when this technology was initially tested about 30 years ago. Can you imagine not testing products that emit large amounts of energy when held next to one’s head or against one’s body 24/7? We must bring this issue to light and conduct thorough testing on the effects of these technologies. Isn't this what the HHS is for? To study these subjects to protect the people? Isn't that what they are employed to do? I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. I am a smart meter survivor. I also live in Rockwall Texas where they are basically frying us half to death! Until I moved here five years ago, I was in perfect Health! I have lost my dream home to sell towers due to my health issues connected to living within 2 miles from 70 cell towers and antennas. The smart meter was located on the other side of the wall from my head from my bedroom which destroyed my health and my life. Within a year and a half of living in that new home, I experienced hair loss almost a complete loss of my eyesight, extreme heart, palpitations, weight loss and was diagnosed with pre-cancer! I was able to remove the smart meters due to our state fortunately having a quote, opt out option” to switch it out, but by the time I knew this was possible it wouldn’t have made any difference because even an analog electric meter should never be on the other side of the wall from your head due to electrical magnetism! Within two years more towers were added here with ZERO monitoring of tower levelsand it began to affect my heart health again! We submitted the story on the Rockwall Facebook page where we received hundreds of messages from people experiencing the same issues to the point that they banned my friend and I from the Rockwall Facebook page! The situation is very real and it is injuring us and thank you so much for allowing the American people to have a voice! This has permanently damaged my health as I’ve lost my ability to tolerate high levels of electromagnetic fields, which basically means I have to live on the edge of town now! 6-G may be the end of me yet!

Ive experienced: extreme brain fog, mood disorders, pulsing through body, extreme sleep deprivation, blood pressure 186/116, cognitive dissonance. So much more do to EMF. I would be willing to stand a testify about it. Sometimes it feels like I'm not even myself. I have a huge heart for humanity alone and believe in selfless servitude for the "low man". I know when I'm being saturated by EMF, ELF waves, even wifi. It feels like my central nervous system is on fire at times and when I'm saturated by all the above all I wanna do is 'nothing' and that's not who I am. Obviously, these signals are terrible for our health and the natural world. In my view, pollution of our planet is an act of war and constant radio signals, as powerful as they are, qualify.

Hello, my name is Rosa. My children and I are victims of these technological psychotronic weapons. They use 5G antennas and cell towers to direct radio frequencies, electromagnetic waves, radiation, and microwaves straight at our brains, organs, bodies, and skin. I live in the city of Baldwin Park, California, and my home has become an electromagnetic field; I am subjected to these frequencies constantly, day and night. My body—my face, my brain, and my entire frame—shakes as a result of these attacks. My face and arms are burned, and my skin has been destroyed by this radiation; it feels like my skin is on fire.
