For about six years, I've been hearing a low-frequency humming sound that no one else around me can hear. This phenomenon is known under the name Taos Hum. A single-digit percentage of the world's population experiences this phenomenon. I went to an ENT specialist and had my hearing checked. Everything is fine. My primary care physician also couldn't find anything wrong.

I also spoke with a neurologist, but she couldn’t really help me either except advising me to reduce stress. A measurement taken by the Environmental Protection Agency in my home revealed no significant infrasound exposure in the audible range. The fact that I am the only one who can hear it suggests that this acoustic phenomenon is the so-called Frey effect, which is caused by exposure to pulsed microwaves.

See, among other things, U.S. Patent No. 4,877,027 (attached).

In addition to that about a year ago, a high-frequency, constant whining sound began in my head, which simply “turned on” from one minute to the next. Here, too, I suspect the influence of EMF or other types of radiation. It is a very agonizing auditory sensation that significantly impairs my sleep and my quality of life.

I am German and live in Germany, where there are also other people affected. I am writing to you because there is absolutely no awareness in Germany of the harm caused by EMF, RF, microwave or other radiation.

We must create opportunities to study this phenomenon. Doctors must be trained to diagnose the Havana Syndrome. EEGs and CT scans must become standard diagnostic procedures. Of course, exposure to radiation must be reduced. To achieve this, it requires more accurate measuring devices capable of detecting different kinds of radiation.

Unfortunately, the reality is that we, as those affected, are not taken seriously, and appropriate tests are denied—partly out of a lack of knowledge, partly out of ignorance. Most of the time, we are diagnosed with tinnitus, a mental disorder, or simply told that it’s all in our heads.

The authorities must make every effort to investigate the harm caused by this radiation and take remedial action.

I hope that the influence of the United States, which is taking a leading role in this regard, will also compel our governments to act.

I am Sarah Starr. My work includes space-weather forecasting, astrology, consciousness education, and exploration of non-human intelligence. I urge HHS to include space weather in its investigation of electromagnetic fields, radiofrequency radiation, wireless exposure, and human health. We cannot fully understand the electromagnetic environment people encounter by studying phones, towers, and electronics alone. Natural conditions belong in that investigation too. I want HHS to connect observations of solar activity and geomagnetic disturbances with exposure measurements, health research, and public-health preparedness. Space weather changes Earth's electromagnetic environment. Solar storms affect the magnetosphere and ionosphere, altering currents, fields, and the propagation of radio signals. They can disrupt communications, navigation, satellites, and power systems. These hazards affect public health, emergency response, and national security. Our reliance on technology makes understanding those consequences essential. Wireless infrastructure, personal devices, and high-power transmitters such as HAARP should receive independent exposure assessment. Each source has its own operating characteristics. I ask HHS to investigate the natural conditions surrounding these systems and the people who use them. Measure what happens during both quiet periods and space-weather events, rather than assuming that one set of conditions represents every situation. I am interested in changes in Earth's magnetic field and the wider reach of auroral displays during strong storms. Regional magnetic weakening, strengthening elsewhere, and unusually southern auroras are reasons to examine local conditions. They should prompt coordinated measurements of fields, particles, and radiation, rather than a single assumption about exposure everywhere. Natural radiation also deserves attention. Solar energetic particles, cosmic radiation, and gamma rays from atmospheric events involve different sources and exposure pathways. Ground-level particle detections and observed thunderstorm gamma-ray bursts show why research should capture brief events as well as averages. Establishing their…

Hello, prior to 2019 I began getting severe night sweats because my body was heating up during the early hours of the morning.

Since 2019 I started to get ringing in my ears and a horrific vibration in my head which causes terrible sleep deprivation.

I've been woken up with a horrible vibration/pressure pushing down on the crown of my skull. The second time this happened I felt it go into my skull.

I get headaches, pressure in my head, zapping sounds and sensation in my ears.

I've been to hospital with microwave radiation sickness where I felt I was dying, having a stroke and heart attack and I physically was sick. I've been woken up in the early Hours feeling like my heart was going to burst out my chest.

Nose bleeds, Burns or skin rash. Feeling like someone's sticking pins in my eyes.

The constant symptoms, sleep deprivation is torture. I live in the United Kingdom. North East in Gateshead NE96EY

I am writing as a psychologist – and as an individual concerned about the health of myself and others.

Today we are exposed to massive amounts of frequencies to which we are biologically not adapted through our prior millions of years of evolution. The impacts on our health and wellbeing are many.

Psychologically, common manifestations include increases in depression, anxiety, ADHD, learning disabilities and cognitive decline. Brain development and function is affected prenatally and onward throughout life, particularly with repeated and prolonged exposures.

The entire nervous system, which strongly influences virtually every bodily function, is disrupted and compromised. See, for example, https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0361923024002247.

Cell towers in particular are associated with increases in DNA damage, blood-cell abnormalities, compromised immeunity and cancer. (https://www.ehn.org/cell-tower-radiation-health-effects) Additional symptoms of exposure (which can adversely affect health and personal functioning over time) may include headaches and disturbed sleep.

Even the devices we use as individuals are hazardous, giving us additional, targeted exposure to abnormal electromagnetic fields.

As a homeowner in a neighborhood with a cell tower that went up recently nearby, I am interested in seeing the long-term research done on nn-EMF; and its impacts on human health. I have been told there are no known risks based on studies, but the studies seem to fall short - they have not studied long-term health of nearby residents. People with cell towers near their homes have reported headaches, fatigue, ringing in the ears, etc. I am not presuming cell towers to be the cause, but it’s worth taking seriously. Given radiation’s impact on human health (i.e. cancer), I’d like to be sure cell towers certainly do not contribute to such a diagnosis. In conclusion, the public needs to be reassured that cell towers do not negatively impact the overall wellbeing of those who live near them.

For 3 years, my home contained an extremely high EMF caused by an electrician who improperly installed dimmers and violated the electric code when wiring to fuse box. The EMF field was highest in my son’s bedroom and adjacent tv room. My healthy son then experienced unexplained chronic pain. I used an EMF meter to find defect and fixed it with the help of an electrician. Read the book Tracing EMF in Building Wiring and Grounding by Karl Riley. You will learn that the EMF studies that said EMF is safe DID NOT understand that some of the highest EMF is caused by residential wiring defects. The EMF studies that based their analysis upon the distance of homes with children with leukemia from high power lines DID NOT understand that the real danger was not high power lines, but residential wiring defects producing much higher EMF. If a house was 10 miles from a high power line and the resident had leukemia it had little to do with proximity to the power lines but probably a lot to do with whether that home had high EMF due to wiring defect. My son’s room had an EMF level of 80 to 120 mG whereas the level near the high power lines in my town was like 12 mG. I know because I started testing locations to understand. After the wiring defect was fixed in my house, the level dropped down to 0.14 mG. I used AC Milligaus meter by Alpha Lab Inc

I support HHS taking an active role in examining the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by federal agencies with appropriate expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health, and the experiences of individuals and families who report being affected should be considered alongside the scientific evidence.

I urge HHS to carefully evaluate these experiences and the scientific evidence, identify gaps in current research, give particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations, and establish appropriate federal research priorities regarding wireless radiation and public health.

Thank you for providing individuals and families with an opportunity to be heard.

Re-evaluate exposure standards beyond simple thermal heating limits The Issue: Current federal guidelines (primarily based on FCC limits established in 1996) focus almost exclusively on preventing immediate thermal tissue heating (the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR limit) over short timeframes. The Recommendation: HHS should urge inter-agency coordination (with the FDA, CDC, and FCC) to evaluate non-thermal, long-term biological pathways. Current research demonstrates that fields far weaker than those required to heat tissue can induce cellular responses, primarily through: Oxidative stress and Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) generation, which can indirectly compromise cellular repair pathways and intracellular signaling over time. Disruption of cellular calcium homeostasis, affecting membrane dynamics and cellular stress protocols. 2. Address cumulative, multi-source exposure in real-world environments The Issue: Safety thresholds are currently tested on individual devices in isolation (e.g., testing a single smartphone near a model head). The Recommendation: HHS should fund public health surveillance and exposure modeling that reflects modern, real-world conditions. Modern environments involve concurrent, continuous exposures from multiple sources—including Wi-Fi networks, smart meters, cellular networks, wearables, and spatial transmission antennas—operating simultaneously over decades. 3. Establish specialized protective frameworks for vulnerable populations The Issue: Uniform safety thresholds assume a standardized adult physiology and do not account for biological variability across demographics. The Recommendation: Regulatory guidelines should implement explicit safety margins for sensitive populations: Children and Adolescents: Thinner skull bones, higher water content in biological tissue, and developing nervous systems lead to deeper relative RF energy penetration. Occupational Workers: Individuals with prolonged high-density field exposures in specific industries or environments. Medical Device Users: Individuals with implanted cardiac or neurological electronics sensitive to external field interference. 4. I request a comprehensive, independent evaluation of the potential health effects of radiofrequency electromagnetic field (RF-EMF) exposure from wireless technologies, particularly for children, pregnant women, developing fetuses, and communities near wireless infrastructure. As cell towers, small-cell antennas, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile devices become increasingly widespread, public health protections must keep pace. HHS should assess whether current exposure standards adequately address long-term, cumulative exposure and potentially vulnerable populations. 1. Cancer and long-term exposure I urge HHS to review evidence concerning RF-EMF exposure and cancer, including brain tumors and childhood cancers. Research should consider exposure duration, intensity, frequency, age at first exposure, and proximity to transmitting infrastructure. HHS should distinguish established findings from unresolved questions and identify gaps requiring further long-term research. The absence of conclusive evidence of harm in one exposure scenario should not be interpreted as proof that all scenarios have been adequately studied. 2. Pregnancy, birth defects, and fetal development I request an evaluation of human and experimental evidence concerning RF-EMF exposure and miscarriage, congenital abnormalities, fetal growth, premature birth, and other adverse pregnancy outcomes. Research should account for confounding factors, accurately assess exposure, and clearly explain limitations. Pregnant women deserve transparent, evidence-based guidance on known risks, uncertainties, and reasonable exposure-reduction measures. 3. Children’s brain development Children warrant particular consideration because their brains and nervous systems are developing and their potential exposure may span decades. HHS should prioritize research into possible effects on neurological development, cognition, memory, attention, learning, behavior, and sleep. Studies should distinguish prenatal, childhood, and adolescent exposure and examine cumulative exposure from multiple sources. Long-term studies using objective exposure measurements, appropriate comparison groups, and independent oversight are essential.…

We have our entire home hardwired to avoid wifi. I am very sensitive to EMF's. I get bad headaches, severe ear ringing, insomnia, a bad feeling in my head, and my eyes will hurt when exposed to this radiation.

I have had problems with cellphones. My hand, wrist, and arm will become numb when using my cellphone. I bought a new Samsung S25 cellphone about 2 yrs ago and had to return it due to severe effects from this cellphone. I developed breast cancer when I worked at a hospital with many cells on their roof. Many nurses got cancer working there.

I also became very ill when visiting Las Vegas and walking the street with the 5G small cells on every corner. I developed a severe headache and nose bleed from this.

My father got very sick when a cell tower was installed close to his senior apartment building. He developed lymphocytic leukemia, severe insomnia, and horrible headaches from this radiation. The readings were sky high on my EMF meter when I took a reading in his apartment.

Please regulate cellphones as my EMF meter registers high readings from my husband's and my cellphone.

We havea cell tower 1 mile from our home. I cannot walk near there without bad symptoms.

2013 a cell tower was installed a couple hundred meters from my house. A couple months later I was diagnosed with A pulmonary embolism and collapsed while being treated for that and was also diagnosed with Paracarditis. Spent 2 months hospitalized. Relocated in 2016 to a rural area away from all the communications. Fast forward to 2024.

S.M.A.R.T Meters forced upon everyone's home without consent, similar scenario. A couple months pass and I find myself dealing with heart failure. 1 month hospitalized and still feeling the effects daily with tinnitus and anxiety...

Skeptical of any official survey, not knowing if this information will be used to remedy the problem or monitor its effectiveness as a weapon.

Thank you Honorable Secretary Robert Kennedy for caring about all the people who are suffering daily. Myself, husband and one of my sons have been injured from EMF, RT and WR exposure with severe tinnitus, pain in extremities, headaches, vertigo, constant interruption during sleep, rapid heart beats, raised blood pressures, fatigue and physical hits on our heads and bodies. I have went through breast cancer as a result of these radiation frequencies with no paternal or maternal family history of breast cancer. This has caused us to have severe AHI's. My husband can no longer work in his career as an IT analyst for IBM and me and my son had to undergo so many hardships with family because many did not know what was happening and thought we were losing our minds. It was such a horrific time but we are trying to stay strong in our faith with the Father to get us through and in constant prayer daily. I appreciate all you are doing for all civilians across the world to help stop this horrible weaponization. God bless you always. Tamera C. Williams

I am submitting this comment in response to HHS’s Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure.

I am responding from the perspective of a , parent, myself, healthcare professional, researcher, advocate, concerned member of the public, or other].

wireless radiation has affected me significantly and also i am concerned about my child, and entire family that I care about. The continues exposure from everywhere is unjust since there is no escape from it. I am very signifantly sensitive to is and the measures that I am taking are not enough. I am buying expensive clothes and blankets to shield myself but I am still significantly affected. It's not right that my life became a hell now without my consent and ability to opt out. The exposure is crazy and new towers continue to grow everywhere. This needs to stop and it is unlawful because it affects everyone without asking for acceptance. I do not consent and do not accept being continuously exposed to this radiation.
