In 1996 the telecom industry got a law passed to bring toxic wireless radiation to market with no safety testing, and no accountability for harm. The science now shows neurotoxicity, infertility and more! As a longtime commercial FCC licensee, I want you to know that this has got to change ASAP. For too many years, we who work in broadcast radio have been treated as unstudied guinea pigs, with our heightened unprotected exposure to man-made electromagnetic radiation. Today, the FCC is treating almost the entire population of the settled world as unstudied guinea pigs. The Federal Communications Commission already exercises regulatory power over most players in the broadcast and communications environment. It has chosen to use that power in a limited and biased way. Let's talk about changing that or at least improving it.

As a retired RN, I'd like to speak for those of us with EMF sensitivity/illness. We don’t often get a window into the life of a person with EHS (electro-magnetic hypersensitivity) – how isolating it is – how marginalized people are – and how withdrawn they must become to protect what is left of their health. We need to listen with ears wide open. This is real and real people are living greatly diminished lives. Imagine yourself forced to give up a productive life to live on the edge, and that edge keeps moving. Imagine being denied access to business opportunities, education, transportation, healthcare, public participation, recreation and places of celebration and renewal. Again and again we are hearing the same things. I lived a normal life until… smart meters were installed on my wall… until a major cell phone tower was built next door…. until my office installed several wireless routers. My family didn’t understand. It took me some time to realize what was making me sick. It destabilized my relationships. I lost my freedom. People with EHS have to give up so many things most people take for granted in life. Shopping, going out to dinner, attending meetings in public places, going to a child’s graduation or recital, travel along an interstate or by rail or air. Everyday activities that make up the fabric of life are no longer accessible – at least without paying the price. It is an insidious and invisible progression where the activities of daily life are incrementally diminished by exposures that intensify with time, subject to no health and safety accounting at all!!! No one is keeping track of cumulative RF body burdens. There is no governmental agency that is tracking EHS illness reports, nor conducting a serious effort to revise health standards!!! EHS is real and people are being harmed by wireless technology. Please set lower MPEs for this real toxin.

26110083114 https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filing/26110083114 I am writing regarding the FCC’s response to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals’ remand concerning its decades-old radiofrequency (RF) radiation exposure guidelines. The Court directed the FCC to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its guidelines adequately protect humans against harmful effects of RF radiation unrelated to cancer. Specifically, the court required the FCC to address the impacts of RF radiation on children, the health implications of long-term exposure, the ubiquity of wireless devices and technological developments, impacts on the environment, and the adequacy of the FCC’s testing procedures for cell phones and other portable devices. The FCC should fully consider evidence and real-world experiences concerning the health and environmental impacts of wireless radiation, including non-cancer health effects, impacts on children, long-term and cumulative exposure, cancer, and impacts on wildlife and the environment. The FCC is not a health agency and does not have expertise in medicine, biology or public health. Yet, the agency continues to assert authority over RF exposure standards and is preparing to reach conclusions about whether its existing guidelines adequately protect the public. I urge the FCC to recognize the critical role of federal health agencies, including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and to rely on appropriate health and biological expertise when addressing the issues identified by the court. This issue matters to me personally because: I’ve been suffering from EMR Syndrome for 5 years. Whenever there’s a cell phone turned on near me—or Wi-Fi, a DECT phone, a cordless device, or an antenna nearby—I get headaches, pain all over my body, and brain fog. I become aggressive, and if it goes on for too long, I end up with burnout or depression... I’m a musician and flute teacher. I’ve not been able to play in concert the late 2 years. I can still teach, but it’s become very difficult. If I'm in my classroom and there's a cell phone turned on in the hallway, I can't see it, but I can sense it! I have to wear protective clothing—it's very…

I am commenting about this case as I have been greatly impacted by wireless for about 15 years. I was very sick with extreme heart problems , migraines , digestive problems , brain fog, light sensitivity and extreme fatigue. After seeing many doctors who were no help I started doing my own research to figure out what was causing my health problems. I decided to greatly limit my exposure to anything, wireless, especially wifi. I got rid of all my wireless devices and slowly all my health problems started to go away. My health returned to normal after about a year living in the rural area. Everything I use now is hardwired. The migraines after 12 years stopped in one day being away from the wireless. Imagine what it’s like living in this country where wireless is ubiquitous, it’s not easy but my life is so much better now. I think the way the FCC has tried to bury this issue is a disgrace in light of all the global studies that show harm, even the NIH showed harm.. The US has the second highest allowable cell towers. An industry run governmental branch, the FCC is harming people and the flora fauna. And the 1996 telecom act is way out dated and a disgrace to humanity.

The FCC limits are WAY TOO LOW. i am now self banning from all big cities in the US which have 5G and other harmful radiation. I cannot breathe in Chicago or even walk comfortably, except when in the park or on the lake. I grew up near Philadelphia. I used to go into that city all the time, and even graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in the 1960s. Now, I cannot go into the city without grievous bodily harm from the 5G. European cities have much lower limits and I am very comfortable near the Vatican. The Pope has banned all microwave emitting towers near the Vatican.

26110083101 https://www.fcc.gov/ecfs/filing/26110083101 There are indications that humans possess a magnetic sense. Since this is a fact that has not yet shifted the scientific paradigm, we must rely on current knowledge. Is it ethical to turn a deaf ear? Canaries were used to ensure the safety of mines. We have “canaries” who can speak and write, but our current worldview prevents us from listening to them. It’s ethical to consider this line of thinking. What if people had a magnetic sense? What would change then? What should be studied in that case? What should be taken into account? What should be done differently? What should be done when it is a known fact that all senses function in such a way that there are people in the population whose particular sense is more sensitive than the average? We are familiar with hyper-tasters, people with hypersensitivity to sound, people with sensitivity to light, etc. Is it ethically right, then, to design living environments in such a way that a sensitive person cannot find refuge from the very factor that causes their sensitivity and symptoms? Magnetic sensitivity could affect neurological symptoms, such as dizziness, headaches, or sleep disturbances, especially in technology-rich environments. Doctors might begin to assess magnetic sensitivity as part of a neurological examination, particularly in patients with unexplained symptoms. A new medical specialty might emerge—such as “magneto-neurology”—that focuses on the effects of magnetic fields on the human nervous system. Current safety limits (e.g., SAR values for MRI machines) are based on tissue heating and electromagnetic effects. If magnetic sensitivity were recognized, restrictions might also be imposed based on neurological effects. Henshaw, D. L., & Philips, A. (2024). A mechanistic understanding of human magnetoreception validates the phenomenon of electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS). No to all forms of harmful emf's! We are a wired rural family with a landline and only use wireless when absolutely necessary. There are all kinds of studies saying many forms of emfs are harmful to humans and wildlife. No to mega cell towers, data centers and flock cameras - please value human life over the material world.
