My comment is in response to the Request for Information on Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), Radiofrequency (RF) Radiation, and Wireless Radiation Exposure. I am responding both as a patient and a healthcare professional, who has been concerned about this issue for many years, and has read the scientific literature. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/379738087_Investigation_of_the_Adverse_Health_Effects_of_Cell_Phone_Radiation_and_Propose_Solutions_to_Minimize_Them_A_Systematic_Review I developed hypersensitivity to electromagnetic radiation when I had another serious illness, and the effects of the wireless radiation made my overall symptoms worse. Those symptoms included brain fog, insomnia, anxiety and tinnitus. I removed all cordless phones from my home, and use wired phones and computers to help reduce the symptoms. My cell phone is turned off or on airplane mode most of the time to reduce my exposure. Although I can reduce exposure in my home, I need the government to reduce the exposure in the community. Our government is responsible for making sure the exposure to electromagnetic radiation is safe. Thus far, it has not been proven safe, and the exposures allowed in our country are magnitudes higher than that allowed in the EU. Please examine both the scientific evidence and people’s experiences regarding the potential health and environmental effects of wireless radiation. Questions about human health should be addressed by the appropriate federal agencies with expertise in medicine, biology, epidemiology, and public health. I urge HHS to identify gaps in current research, giving particular attention to children and other potentially vulnerable populations. I am deeply concerned about all the radiation in our environment. I know many people who have been deeply affected. The FCC did not properly consider the scientific evidence on how this relates to human beings exposed to radiation on a constant basis. I am concerned about all the illnesses that are caused by the toxic environment. There are many side effects that have been associated that affect human behavior on all levels. This affects humans on a cellular level and I am concerned for my kids and grandchildren. The levels of Cancer, Alzheimer's, mental health, suicide and autism are never considered by the FCC. It is clear that these frequencies are dangerous to humans and the truth must be revealed.
