I am a licensed GMDSS radio maintainer and former maritime navigation and communications technician. Any continuous non-ionizing radiation under 100 watts per square meter is within safe guidelines. For context on how much it would take, a 25,000 watt 9GHz radar is considered safe at 1.5m from the transmission source.
