Thank you to HHS for issuing this RFI. As a 63-year-old with two adult children, I am very concerned about the long-term health effects of wireless radiation exposure.

When I hold a cell phone to my head for longer than five minutes, I begin to develop a headache on the side of my head where I am holding the cellphone. My head and ear also start to feel warm. I’m no doctor, but this can’t be a good sign!

Sometimes it’s hard not to envision a room full of telecom executives cranking out the numbers – we know this product is unsafe, but we’re going to sell it anyway because only some people will die or get cancer and we’ll still make a profit. Very reminiscent of big tobacco!

Please update today’s exposure limits to ensure they reflect the latest science and use patterns of wireless technologies. The FCC has failed on every front to do this, and it’s high time for HHS to pick up the slack.
