I am a licensed architect practicing in Washington DC, and the rules and regulations from a zoning perspective on where to place a cell tower is less stringent than a strip club. We need rules in place with safe distances from which these towers are allowed to be placed. There should be a minimum a 1/2 a mile that these towers are allowed to be installed from schools, homes, office buildings, churches, etc. The risks are too great from radiation exposure and its effects on the blood-brain barrier, especially in children.
