Abstract
The improved expansion in width is applied to curved domain walls in uniaxial nematic liquid crystals in an external magnetic field. In the present paper we concentrate on the case of equal elastic constants. We obtain an approximate form of the director field up to second order in the magnetic coherence length.

Main findings
An improved expansion in width is applied to curved domain walls in uniaxial nematic liquid crystals under an external magnetic field, focusing on the case of equal elastic constants. The authors obtain an approximate form of the director field up to second order in the magnetic coherence length.
Outcomes measured
- Domain wall width expansion
- Director field (approximate form)
- Magnetic coherence length (second-order approximation)
Limitations
- No biological/health outcomes described (materials/physics focus).
- No quantitative exposure parameters (e.g., field strength, frequency) reported in the abstract.
- Approximation described only up to second order in magnetic coherence length; validity range not stated in the abstract.
